What should have been a moment of school pride has now sparked controversy, with a high school football game in Oregon drawing attention for all the wrong reasons. A confrontation involving two rival players has raised questions about sportsmanship, respect, and the lack of intervention from adults present at the scene.

And hence why I really really really hate ole Abe Lincoln with a napalm passion.
Frickin commie.
So what happened to them? Or do we have to listen to these guys yip yap for 20 minutes to get the end result?
Just my 0.02, mins You, no disrespect intended or expressed.
Am I the only one who has noticed that almost, ALMOST, every college and NFL team has a Furbie as a mascot? Did I make it clear when I say ALMOST I mean “not every”? Oh, what’s the use. Go ahead and tell me how wrong I am by pointing out your team’s mascot that’s not a Furbie. Go ahead. I’m ready to ignore you.
Most real "adults" have fled The People's Republic of Oregon.
The coach should have immediately forfeited the game, and the student should be expelled at once. Nothing else is acceptable.
One team ran out on to the field with the point man waving a very large American flag. A member of the other team, from Jefferson High, tackled the flag waver, then the rest of the Jeff team cheered and jumped in happy agreement.
My opinion is that the tackler should be expelled from the school and charged with felony assault, and the Jefferson High team should be made to forfeit all remaining season games.
what is a ‘furbie’?
If you mean ‘furry’, teams had animal mascots and people playing them in costumes decades beforre Furry Fandom ever came along.
A person wearing a costume resembling and eagle, a duck or a tree, representing a schools sports mascot, is not a furbie.
Go peddle your goods somewhere else, while I ignore you with a passion. LOL
The team with the American flag won the game. The flag thieves were not punished as usual.
LOL! Omygosh. That was too easy. No wonder President Trump enjoys trolling the simple-minded. I apologize for offending you and your friends in the Furbie community. š š š¤£
Feel free to post the whole text
Iāll play devils advocate, is there any evidence this was not run of the mill thuggery and low impulse control. I think it possible the flag bearer was attacked because he was the first man out of the gate. The thug who felt ādisrespectedā didnāt care if he was carrying a flag or a Christmas ham, he was gonna get hit.
I went to Pitt āPanthersā games back in the 1950s and they had a guy dressed up in a Panther costume. When they played Penn State their guy was dressed as a Mountain Lion. There was no such thing as a furbe then, so put that in your Texas Eagle costume and smoke it. ;~))
Then the moderator deletes it.
Wow. You FurbiecRATS sure are a sensitive lot. š„ŗ
Close the public schools.
So what happened to them? Or do we have to listen to these guys yip yap for 20 minutes to get the end result?

You fell for it?
I didn’t click.
If it’s like most videos, they tease the hook but drag things out for a long time. The whole point is to keep you there long enough for some ads to monetize their “content”.
Most of the internet works this way now. Most web pages make you scroll past lots of ads before you get to the meat of the real content. Lots and lots of buildup and back-story and unnecessary superfluous fact dropping.
