“While Zelenskyy campaigned on abolishing immunity for lawmakers and judges, the constitutional immunity for the sitting president remains in force.” As long as Zelensky stays “president,” he has “immunity” from criminal prosecution.

There’s a reason why Zelensky doesn’t want another election.
And it’s the same reason that he doesn’t want to end the war in Ukraine.

He’s a really unpopular dictator in Ukraine and would lose an honest election in a landslide and then face justice for his war crimes against his own people.

But canceling elections, wasn’t the only thing Zelensky did.

He then “suspended” all political parties and then banned them. Otherwise, you would have seen huge uprisings in Ukraine against Zelensky.

After that, he consolidated the large TV networks into one that he controlled and also banned the independent networks. He’s been throwing independent journalists into prison ever since.

Then he signed a law that allowed him to censor all forms of media.

This is how a proxy puppet dictator, creates the “illusion” that he’s fighting for the Ukrainian people, as his goon squads kidnap men off the street, handcuff them and then ship them to the frontline to be slaughtered.

I think the Ukrainian people are going to get their justice against Zelensky in the future.

That’s one reason why he doesn’t want to hold an election or end the war.

What’s another reason?

“Ukraine: another corruption scandal within Zelensky’s inner circle.”

“On 19 August, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) announced a special operation codenamed Forrest Gump, targeting a criminal organisation allegedly run by members of the Verkhovna Rada and officials from the Office of the President of Ukraine.”

“The alleged use of the nationalised Sense Bank for criminal purposes points to the extent of state capture by the president’s inner circle. If NABU’s suspicions are confirmed, the bank would effectively have served as a vehicle for Zelensky’s associates to accumulate and launder the proceeds of crime.”

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has caught a whole bunch of Zelensky’s cronies laundering taxpayers money through a Ukrainian bank named Sense Bank.
The bank was nationalized by Zelensky.

Why was it “nationalized?”

“Sense Bank, the former Russian-owned Alfa-Bank nationalised in 2023”

https://osw.waw.pl/en/publikacje/
analyses/2026-08-20/ukraine-another-corruption-scandal-within-zelenskys-inner-circle

Sense Bank was the Ukrainian branch of the Russian Alpha Bank.

Ironic isn’t it?

The democrats, with help from Ukrainian’s, tried to frame Trump for Russian collusion, through Alpha Bank and now Zelensky is using the Ukrainian branch of that bank to launder taxpayers money.

You can’t make this stuff up.

The reason that Zelensky won’t end the war is this:👇🏼

(Brave search)

“Under Ukrainian law, Volodymyr Zelenskyy enjoys immunity from criminal prosecution while serving as President.”

“This protection is explicitly cited in recent anti-corruption investigations. For example, in May 2026, SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko stated that Zelenskyy "has not been and is not currently involved" in a major graft probe involving his former chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, partly because "a sitting president is immune from prosecution under Ukrainian law."

“While Zelenskyy campaigned on abolishing immunity for lawmakers and judges (which was enacted for parliament in 2019), the constitutional immunity for the sitting president remains in force.”

As long as Zelensky stays “president,” he has “immunity” from criminal prosecution.

That’s why Trump keeps emphasizing that Zelensky is a “dictator,” not a president and should hold an election that he cannot win. He shouldn’t have “immunity.”

I’ll say it again.

That corrupt little war criminal’s days are numbered.

Lawfare is a thing. Ask Netanyahu and Trump.

The moment WWII was over, the British dumped Churchill. After a conflict, people just want to put the war, and everything associated with it behind them. Zelinsky’s best bet is to move out of Ukraine and retire somewhere else. He is going to be a major target. Think of how much Trump had to put up with and multiply that by all the people affected by the war. If I was him, I’d work a deal with Switzerland or Sweden.

So many falsehoods:

There’s a reason why Zelensky doesn’t want another election.

Zelensky announce he could hold elections if Putin agrees to a 60 day ceasefire, which Putin rejected. So he is willing to hold elections.

He’s a really unpopular dictator in Ukraine and would lose an honest election in a landslide

Most polls in Ukraine show him either in first or second place, maybe losing in a close second round of elections, but by a landslide? No way.

He then “suspended” all political parties and then banned them

Zelensky banned only 11 pro-Russian parties when the war started, out of a total of more than 300 parties in Ukraine.

Why was it “nationalized?”

Author seriously asks why was a Russian bank in Ukraine nationalized after Russia invaded Ukraine? Maybe for the same reason Russia seized Ukrainian banks in occupied Ukrainian territories?

And yet some on this site praise and apparently adore this as the savior of western civilization. LOL.

You called it paid Russian shill

Nothing in the post suggests wrong doing and it implies impropriety due to Zelensky not participating in the investigation, which by default should be done without their participation.

The parties banned were small Pro-Russian parties which had combined polling in the very low single digits.

Russians and their paid actors deserve no place this site.

...........”Zelinsky’s best bet is to move out of Ukraine and retire somewhere else.”

The “somewhere else” better not include my neighborhood. I’m sock of listening to Russian speakers kvetching about everything.
