Nearly three-dozen countries have either "extreme" or "severe" restrictions on accessing the Bible, preventing millions of believers from reading God's Word, according to a new report from a Christian missions resource initiative.
The Bible Access Initiative, founded by Open Doors International and Digital Bible Society, released the findings of its "Bible Access List" on Thursday. The project examines restrictions on Bible access in 88 countries, due to issues such as persecution, high illiteracy rates, printing limitations or a lack of economic resources.
"A modern famine persists, not due to apathy, but because of barriers that prevent people from accessing the Bible," said Wybo Nicolai, the list's co-creator of BAL, in a statement provided to The Christian Post.

Did England make the list?
Correction: I thought that this was a current article. However, I was confused because it is almost exactly one year old. Sorry.
Here is a similar report from today:

I’m surprised it didn’t.
Prevents people who can read from explaining the Bible to others. That way belief is strongly steered to the government which controls the population.
So you go through three paragraphs and not a country is mentioned.
A pox be on their nations for this.
If you consider the state of the nations on the list, it’s pretty apparent they are indeed facing curses and not blessings.
Unless you country restricts Internet access (e.g. Red China, N. Korea), Bible access is easy on line. I use drbo.org, but thousands of sites abound.

Russia has some dangerous areas for Christians and the usual anti-Christian hostility within, from the government’s church denomination.
“In Russia, Bibles are generally accessible to most of the population, especially through the Russian Orthodox Church. Yet access becomes more difficult for some Protestant, Catholic, and independent churches, and in Muslim-majority republics such as Chechnya and Dagestan, converts from Islam can face serious pressure if a Bible is discovered.”
Ukraine is good except for the occupied territories, enemy occupied territories should reflect on the enemy occupiers.
“In Ukraine, Bibles are mostly available. Across the country’s government-controlled areas, Scripture can be freely accessed without legal restriction. The barriers fall in one defined part of the country: the Russian-occupied territories, where occupation authorities recognize only the Russian Orthodox Church and treat the Bibles of other denominations as material subject to control, confiscation, or extremist labeling.”

The full three should be mentioned by including Russia.
I didn’t realize Russia had a nationwide restriction. The addition is noted.
That said, I doubt that Russia restricts access to Orthodox versions of the Bible.

Post 12 covers that, the government denomination is safe and supported and promoted as the acceptable religion for the population while the government pumps billions into maintaining and building churches for it to employ and pay off administration and priesthoods while almost no one in Russia attends that denomination’s services.
Putin also severely restricts internet access and restricts VPNs
Yemen, Somalia, Aghanistan, Mauritania, and North Korea. Yes, it is demonic and few people in those backward countries know how to use holy water and a rosary.
Here is more on Putin and the internet.
