I was in England on a tourist trip through East Anglia, Lincolnshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire - and while Christianity is not overt, it is not dead yet nor is the Bible banned.

I was pleasantly surprised that Catholic Churches were quite filled even for 10 am mass on weekdays, while the 07:30 am Morning prayers at the Anglican cathedrals had at least a dozen adherents.

there were street preachers in Norwich and Colchester and at two of the hotels/guesthouses i was in, the Bible was prominently displayed.

so, Christianity is not dead in england yet.
