BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Middlesboro woman faces a wanton endangerment charge after a neighbor reported finding a bullet hole in her shower and a stray round wrapped in a bathroom towel.
According to an arrest citation, an apartment resident on Exeter Avenue reported to the Middlesboro Police Department Monday that she discovered a bullet hole in her shower and a bullet inside a towel in her bathroom.
Officers responded to the neighboring apartment and spoke with Teresa Stout, 55.
Police say Stout gave consent for officers to search the apartment and retrieve a small revolver from her bedside table.
After being advised of her rights, Stout told investigators she had acquired the revolver the previous week and accidentally discharged it inside her bedroom, sending a round through the wall.
Stout was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
She was taken to the Bell County Detention Center.
Police secured the firearm as evidence.

The least she could have done is gone next door and apologized.
Shooting your shower brings more procecution than shooting a person.
I declare myself as a shower.
Dooh!

Guns dont hurt people. People hurt people.
Lol
Idiot.
Idiot or cops that lie.
I remember distinctly living in a fraternity house when cops just pushed their way inside (looking for a girl that wasn’t there), trashed a guys room, found pot and just flat lied they had been invited in and consent given to search the room.
I was just a bystander (and not even a member of the fraternity; I was doing a group engineering project) but testified that I saw the cops burst in and then trash the guy’s room. He was sitting next to me and didn’t consent to anything.
See “ Here’s the Deal” Chan on YT you will be amazed

My roommate and I were asleep in our 2 bedroom apartment in our beds when Houston cops woke us up and arrested us for disturbing the peace, when we got out of jail our stuff was gone and we had been evicted.
I sense there’s more to this story…
Were going to need more anti feral pills.
Bidet Bullet Bombshell.
Gif...
She probably was once against gun control and it stayed with her.
We were a little wild, and this was Houston before America turned post 60s gay about everything.

If you ever go to Houston, you better walk right
You better not stagger, you better not fight
Sheriff Benson will arrest yo, he’ll carry you down
And you bet your bottom dollar that your Sugarland bound
I'm surprised she didn't give the worn-out excuse that she was cleaning it when it fired.
How’d they get in?
Can’t watch videos at work, sadly.
I learned from the lawyer (a dad of one of the fraternity guys also not involved and a big shot corporate lawyer) to never open the door to cops, especially in the era of ring doorbells.
Make them break the door down. They’re much more reluctant to break the door than lie about consent. They generally need a warrant and will go away or create a big lie “we heard someone screaming”, which will fall apart if you have a camera and recording.
Locking doors is something I have only gotten used to in modern times, but the management would have had the keys anyway.
I negligently fired a M777A2 in Afghanistan.
We had been doing terrain denial for 18 hours, round after round, were exhausted and got the order to stop.
For reasons unknown to me I decided the gun was unloaded but cocked and I popped a round off about 5 minutes late. No harm no foul, still landed somewhere where Taliban were allegedly located, and no one ever said anything about it, but I was horrified.
What’s sad is there were 3 of us involved in this stupidity and we never figured out what happened or why except we were basically zombies at that point.
