'Noah's Ark's final resting place' confirmed to be a 'man-made object' in groundbreaking announcement

A team scanning a boat-shaped hill in eastern Turkey has announced that new radar images show a large man-made structure underground, not just natural rock.
On Wednesday, private research group Noah’s Ark Scans released a preliminary report about their work at the Durupınar Formation in Turkey, claiming that the 515-foot boat-shaped mound contained a 'man-made object.'
The scans were conducted by Dr Khosrow Bakhtar, an engineer who spent decades building detection systems for US defense agencies, including the Air Force, Navy and NORAD.
He used a system he invented called BakhtarRadar, originally developed to find buried tunnels and hidden structures, to scan beneath the boat-shaped Durupınar mound and see whether it was solid natural rock or a man-made structure with rooms and corridors inside.
That process has now concluded that the object under the Durupınar mound is not a natural rock formation, but a large organized man-made structure with corridors, chambers and hallways inside.
In a press release sent to the Daily Mail, Dr Bakhtar said: 'Whatever the object is beneath the surface is extraordinary.
'In forty years of this work, I have never seen anything like it. It could be a ship. It could be a spaceship. What I can say from the radar is that it is organized, it is structural, and a solid geological mass would not have returned such a strong signature.'

They were used as BALLAST, not as a typical modern anchor.Strange there were only 8 of them found scattered about.
Most old wooden ships that sank left ALL of their ballast in one pile on the ocean floor.
Maybe they got carried away like the wood was, to build houses and barns and roads and temples - ALL of which should be in EVIDENCE in the surrounding countryside.
HMMMmmm...

Noah's ark "probably" looked a lot like the Edmund Fitzgerald with plenty of ballast (anchor/drogue) stones hanging off of it.Hanging off?
I've yet to EVER hear of a ship like that!
Ballast goes in the BOTTOM, to keep the thing from CAPSIZING!

CHAT:
Independent researchers who later surveyed the region (including Collins, Fasold, B. Cornuke, and Turkish archaeologists) found:
At least 15–18 stones in the broader region

Tied to the ship by rope and hanging well below the water line. Cut away when not needed....going into shallow water the rope goes slack...cut.

A story my mom told me years ago...
Once the rains stopped and the waters receded, Noah opened the gates and told the animals to go forth, be fruitful, and multiply.
Sneaky as always, a pair of snakes went to Noah and said, “we can’t multiply, we’re adders”.
So, Noah thought for a moment and got an idea. He got his tools, cut down a tree, and made a table from the limbs. Then he reached down, picked up the snakes, and set them on the table.
Then he said, “there, even adders can multiply using a log table!”

If SLC can claim THIS https://www.helamantours.com/ as authentic, then by golly you folks should believe in the ARK as well.

It’s a miracle that any of the stones survived intact after over 4,000 years.

Broader?
oh yes, I remember now.
Noah and his sons were afraid of sinking so they threw a LOT of them stones overboard as they bobbed along in the waves.
(I used deductive thinking to figger this out!)

I suppose that in your case ignorance is bliss.

That's as good a speculation I've heard of since reading about Mormon boats with a hole in the bottom.
What we wish to point out here is that there are various versions of the Flood story floating about, all of which tell some of the story, none of which tell all of it. The most ancient of these versions substantiates the Bible account to a remarkable degree. Let us place these side by side with Ether's description of the Jaredite ships, matching some twelve peculiarities of the latter with the same peculiarities of the magur-boat which was the ark of Utnapishtim, that being the Babylonian name for Noah. First the Jaredite vessels:- They were built "after the manner of barges which ye have hitherto built" (Ether 2:16). That is, except in some particulars, these boats were not a new design but followed an established and familiar pattern—there really were such boats.
- They were built "according to the instructions of the Lord" (Ether 2:16).
- "They were exceedingly tight, even that they would hold water like unto a dish; and the bottom thereof was tight like unto a dish; and the sides thereof were tight like unto a dish" (Ether 2:17).
- "And the ends thereof were peaked" (Ether 2:17).
- "And the top thereof was tight like unto a dish" (Ether 2:17).
- "And the length thereof was the length of a tree" (Ether 2:17). "And they were small, and they were light upon the water, even like unto the lightness of fowl upon the water" (Ether 2:16).
- "And the door thereof, when it was shut, was tight like unto a dish" (Ether 2:17).
- "And the Lord said . . . thou shalt make a hole in the top thereof, and also in the bottom thereof; and when thou shalt suffer for air, thou shalt unstop the hole thereof, and receive air. And if it so be that the water come in upon thee, behold, ye shall stop the hole thereof, that ye may not perish in the flood" (p. 542, Book of Mormon, 1st ed.) An exacting editor by removing those very significant thereof's has made it appear that when Jared wanted air he was to open the top window of the boat and admit fresh air from the outside. But that is not what the original edition of the Book of Mormon says. For one thing, the ships had no windows communicating with the outside—"ye cannot have windows" (Ether 2:23); each ship had an airtight door ({{s||Ether|2|17), and that was all. Air was received not by opening and closing doors and windows, but by unplugging air holes ("thou shalt unstop the hole thereof, and receive air"), this being done only when the ship was not on the surface—"when thou shalt suffer for air," i.e., when they were not able to open the hatches, the ships being submerged (Ether 2:20).
