'Noah's Ark's final resting place' confirmed to be a 'man-made object' in groundbreaking announcement
Daily Mail ^ | 30 September 2026 | By ISABELLA MACHIN, REPORTER and IMOGEN GARFINKEL - SENIOR FOREIGN NEWS REPORTER

A team scanning a boat-shaped hill in eastern Turkey has announced that new radar images show a large man-made structure underground, not just natural rock.

On Wednesday, private research group Noah’s Ark Scans released a preliminary report about their work at the Durupınar Formation in Turkey, claiming that the 515-foot boat-shaped mound contained a 'man-made object.'

The scans were conducted by Dr Khosrow Bakhtar, an engineer who spent decades building detection systems for US defense agencies, including the Air Force, Navy and NORAD.

He used a system he invented called BakhtarRadar, originally developed to find buried tunnels and hidden structures, to scan beneath the boat-shaped Durupınar mound and see whether it was solid natural rock or a man-made structure with rooms and corridors inside.

That process has now concluded that the object under the Durupınar mound is not a natural rock formation, but a large organized man-made structure with corridors, chambers and hallways inside.

In a press release sent to the Daily Mail, Dr Bakhtar said: 'Whatever the object is beneath the surface is extraordinary.

'In forty years of this work, I have never seen anything like it. It could be a ship. It could be a spaceship. What I can say from the radar is that it is organized, it is structural, and a solid geological mass would not have returned such a strong signature.'

The flood that filled the Med happened over 5 million years ago. Homo Sapiens did not exist yet.

Not speculation, it was covered in polished limestone in historical times and was written about by Pliny and guys like that.

What was interesting, the blocks were cut with such precision and fitted together so well, no seams were even visible. In fact, the entrance was made with a swinging hinged “door”, but no one knew the precise location of it.

That’s why the tomb robbers blasted a hole in the side, away from the actual entrance, the robber’s hole is the entrance still used today.

——>The Ark had no need of anchors, stone or otherwise. It wasn’t a ship - it was a floating barge, with no means of propulsion or navigation. It went where God’s hand pushed it. Boats hadn’t been invented yet - why would there be anchors?

They were used as BALLAST, not as a typical modern anchor.

---->The Durupinar formation does not match the shape of the Biblical description of the Ark - which was a large, floating rectangular box. It did not have curved sides, or a shaped bow / stern.

Ark: 450ft long, 75ft wide, 45ft high. 3 stories tall with a door on the side. Also had a roof over it.

Compare with the ship/boat Edmund Fitzgerald: 729ft long, 75 ft wide, 39ft high. (and absolutely had ballast and a shaped bow)

Noah's ark "probably" looked a lot like the Edmund Fitzgerald with plenty of ballast (anchor/drogue) stones hanging off of it. They were cut as the waters receded and dry land appeared...ark came to rest.

The area is a tourist destination. Seriously. They are trying to grow it. $3,600 for an adult for 12 days and tour the ark site and all of the Christian sites in Turkey. Plus $650 if you want a motel room.

Interpreted that way, nobody of the time who believed in Jesus would go to heaven - and nobody later would either, including you.

You are absolutely RIGHT!

'GOOD' people do NOT go to heaven - only repentant SINNERS!

Which, according to Rome, Mary wasn't.

Elsie, your main belief seems to be in yourself.

Cronos, your main belief seems to be in hoping that what your church has thoroughly taught you is correct.

Why are you asking ME ‘why’?

I’m merely illustrating what has been published by the folks doing the research ‘interpretation’.

More info from the internet.

Modern replicas — including Ark Encounter (Kentucky) and Johan’s Ark (Netherlands)

Using the commonly applied royal cubit (~20.4–20.6 inches), this yields:

≈510 ft long

≈85 ft wide

≈51 ft high

They don’t look like a barge. They look like a boat.

Sorry, I forgot that all you can do is read. Deductive and common-sense reasoning escape you. My bad.
