A pensioner called 999. Not MI5. Not GCHQ. A villager spotted three suspicious vans heading toward a US bomber base and dialled 999.

The operation was not intelligence-led. A resident made a phone call. That is what stopped it.

Recorded a propaganda video announcing the plot. Target: Jewish community centres, Israeli diplomats, pro-Israel events across Germany and Austria. Timed for the second anniversary of October 7.

Mossad and German intelligence foiled it. British intelligence did not find it.

A court granted him anonymity for 100 years. He sits in a British cell while Germany waits for extradition. The state that gave him the passport is now hiding his identity. Indefinitely.

Some logic for people here to consider:

1) The British police arrest Middle Easterners for Terrorism
2) Yet they say to the British People: “Don’t worry about it, no big deal, and definitely don’t call them terrorists, at least at this point.”
3) While, at the same time, police are knocking on doors of Brits and threatening/arresting them for posting criticism of Immigration.
4) Why is the British government defending immigrant terrorism, while not allowing any criticism of immigration?

It hadn’t gone “bang.” That’s the thing. I’m used to hearing stories of the aftermath of attacks. If other plots are stopped beforehand, it makes some sense not to publicize them so soon so the larger network can be uncovered.

Given how so many people in the UK get arrested and jailed for social media posts, I’m surprised the authorities in the UK didn’t arrest the woman who called 999, she probably described the people as middle eastern and that can get you arrested over there.
