How can that be? I know a lot of Christians say that the Earth is only 6,000 years old.

I first got interested in the green Sahara with it's ruins etc when I read Desmond Bagley’s adventure book Flyaway, where a son is searching for his dead father's grave in the Sahara and they mention the paintings of men and animals on caves in the southern Sahara desert.
Internet archives has the book but you have to free register to read it.
