Fauci was kind enough (and stupid enough) to write his most intimate thoughts and feelings in a diary. He wrote this on a government-owned computer, making Fauci's inner musings the public's business. And the release of those more than 1,100 pages of his spectacularly narcissistic, self-congratulatory braggadocio will almost certainly have future historians asking one simple question:
Why wasn't this guy in jail?
It's been less than two months since that diary was made public, and researchers are still pulling astonishing nuggets of damning information out of it. Reason.com's Zach Weissmueller has taken a very deep dive into the diary's contents and has tried to connect dots that have been in clear view the whole time. In fact, Fauci himself came very close to making a circumstantial case that a leak from the Wuhan lab caused the pandemic.

I think worrying about history is not really productive. You mean, how will Americastan remember Fauci? Not at all.
And deservedly so.
It is not to you, me or most of us common folks, but to a quintessential narcissist like Fauci it likely means a lot.

All of the historians are progressives, so they are going to write Fauci into sainthood. Fauci’s story will never accurately be told because nobody is interested in telling it.

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South, one of the largest professional organizations in North America for classicists and ancient historians (includes more than 30 states and several Canadian provinces) has named a scholarship in his honor and is still defending him against Republican attacks.
And Fauci could care less. All he wants is his big fat pension.

We see how “official” history portrays Mao, Che, Fidel, the Holodomor, the Gulags, Joe McCarthy, Nixon, Alger Hiss, the Rosenbergs, etc. in relation to reality.
The Leftists, Marxists, Globalists are either heroic or misunderstood or their atrocities are glossed over.
The “villains” are any of their opponents.
Dr. Fauchi’s “accomplishments” will dwarf Dr. Mengele’s “accomplishments”. Fauci’s death toll will place him into the realm of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao as one of the most murderous thugs of all time.

Covid is just a snippet of Faucis long career it will be overlooked because the rest of his time also looks clean. It’s not. Corrupt and shady deals were the norm. No one will dig that deep.
As an opthomolic surgeon, Paul should be outraged at Faucis involvement in approving a sterilization process for ophthalmology Olive instuments that blinded several veterans. Fauci was in it up to his eyebrows but you will never find a clue. This same process was approved for resterilizing disposable equipment during Covid. Dittos for anthrax vaccines.
But you can’t catch him.
