Tennesse woman, Christa Pike, makes special request days before execution

Christa Pike has “horrible nightmares.” Her “nerves are shredded.”

In eight days, the 50-year-old who killed her friend when she was a teenager will have her worst nightmares realized inside the execution chamber in Nashville, Tennessee.

Pike is set to become the first woman put to death in Tennessee since 1819 if Governor Bill Lee does not put a stop to the scheduled execution before 10 a.m. local time on September 30.

Have you ever been in prison in solitary?

30 years in solitary is great punishment its one of the worst mental stress levels one human can do to another.

I argue that death is too quick and easy , people should suffer for decades in solitary first that’s the real punishment. Death is lights out and not everyone believes in punishment after death, you can clearly see and quantify solitary confinement as punishment. I say let her rot for another decade or two its already drove her insane at the clinical level.

For people who are clearly a clear and present danger to all of civilization then public short time hangings should be the stadium sized public event. Terrorists, mass drug dealers, kiddie touchers , the kind like the fedex guy who choked out a 7yo , the dude on the train with the Ukrainian immigrant those types are too dangerous to keep alive and torture with solitary confinement the rest should get the 3+ decades in the 6*8ft box treatment.
