Christa Pike has “horrible nightmares.” Her “nerves are shredded.”
In eight days, the 50-year-old who killed her friend when she was a teenager will have her worst nightmares realized inside the execution chamber in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pike is set to become the first woman put to death in Tennessee since 1819 if Governor Bill Lee does not put a stop to the scheduled execution before 10 a.m. local time on September 30.

I read the details. She deserves the fear and pain she has earned through the brutal killing of that girl.
The tragedy here is that her execution didn't happen years ago.

The reason this country is so frigged up is due to the fact a crime is committed and 35 years later the punishment is delivered.

The details are horrifying ... and she was a most inefficient and incompetent murderer. She murdered her “friend” in a prolonged orgy of stabbing, beating, and bludgeoning with various objects ...
And she has the insufferable gall to complain that her execution might be painful.
