President Donald Trump baselessly claimed on Tuesday that the July 2024 assassination attempt against him was a plot by Democrats, including then-President Joe Biden and FBI Director Chris Wray, to push him out of the election.
The president posted on Truth Social that Biden's FBI "didn't do what they should have with respect to the Lunatic who shot me in Butler, PA," referring to gunman Thomas Crooks, who was 20 years old when he shot at Trump during a campaign rally, grazing his ear, killing a bystander and injuring two others before the Secret Service fatally shot him.

"By the time I got into Office, on January 20th, most of the information was missing, altered, corrupted, or gone. New info was just found!" he continued. "This was all a Democrat Plot, to get me out of the Election, that failed.
Trump also called Wray, whom he hired to lead the FBI during his first term, a "Dirty Cop" who "should pay a price for the way he handled the assassination attempt, and certainly for the things he said."
Neither Biden nor Wray appear to have responded.
The FBI found that Crooks appeared to have acted alone, with no immediate ideological motive, and concluded its probe in November 2025 under Trump's second term.

The Butler assassination attempt had obvious coordination between corporate players, the Biden administration, and various government agencies, including the FBI and Secret Service.
And they nearly succeeded.
You don't just let something like that drop.
You also don't use public measures to deal with the problem.
I do not believe that the comments from President Trump are helpful in this matter. I do believe he knows who all the players were and has delt with some of them. Others are still beyond his reach.
They may try again, using more capable operators and a simpler plan. They won't like the outcome if they do that.
CNN was in on the plan.

Trump’s FBI has said he acted alone and closed the case. The head of DOJ left because he says Trump is asking for convictions where there is no evidence.
I don’t have all the answers, but I hope you will forget this issue and start focusing on the next two elections. We’re about to get killed in the midterms and Trump seems to be facilitating this.

The reason/excuse they had for covering IIRC was the possibility Trump would announce his VP. Lame but that is what they came up with.
Nah it was Biden’s plan B after his disastrous debate, he would have much rather gone against Nikki Haley, even if she had won it would have been win/win for the Dems since she is not that far off from being a Dem anyway

I am asking Freepers to keep a look out for whom these individuals were, when they were identified, if they are active/former government employees, and what the ‘investigation’ demonstrated. I can find no answers on the internet.

There’s a thread here that needs to be pulled. Somewhere I read way back that Crooks was reported to have been in DC, before the shooting. I believe these two ‘unmentionables’ were his handlers. There is no reason we should not know their names and the agency Crooks went to when he was in DC. Trump’s angels rightfully tell him this was a government set up by the Biden/Communist Left. He euphemistically refers to them as Dumucrats, but they and the Deep State Commies are one of the same.
I was talking about CNN covering the rally.
By msm standards everything President Trump suggests is “baseless.”
I learned from Covid - anytime MSM puts editorial words like “baseless” or “completely unverified” or “debunked” directly into their headlines - they are highly agitated and the exact opposite is likely true.
Yeah I never believed CNN’s reason for covering the rally. They used that excuse but I never believed it
