President Donald Trump baselessly claimed on Tuesday that the July 2024 assassination attempt against him was a plot by Democrats, including then-President Joe Biden and FBI Director Chris Wray, to push him out of the election.
The president posted on Truth Social that Biden's FBI "didn't do what they should have with respect to the Lunatic who shot me in Butler, PA," referring to gunman Thomas Crooks, who was 20 years old when he shot at Trump during a campaign rally, grazing his ear, killing a bystander and injuring two others before the Secret Service fatally shot him.

"By the time I got into Office, on January 20th, most of the information was missing, altered, corrupted, or gone. New info was just found!" he continued. "This was all a Democrat Plot, to get me out of the Election, that failed.
Trump also called Wray, whom he hired to lead the FBI during his first term, a "Dirty Cop" who "should pay a price for the way he handled the assassination attempt, and certainly for the things he said."
Neither Biden nor Wray appear to have responded.
The FBI found that Crooks appeared to have acted alone, with no immediate ideological motive, and concluded its probe in November 2025 under Trump's second term.

Via a recent FOIA release, the FBI got Video footage from a least a gun store within a week of the assignation attempt, of Crooks with 2 other individuals. In addition, one of these two individuals was identified at the gun range with Crooks. This is now fact in the record, and the FBI didn't release it 'willingly' until the FOIA request.
Second, the FBI had this information and Video BEFORE Wray Testified to Congress and AFTER Congress had requested such information be presented to Congress for the Congressional investigation. Wray did NOT mention this, nor is there any PUBLIC acknowledgement of Congress being notified.
Obviously, there are possibilities. 1. The individuals were investigated, identified, and ruled out as possible co-conspirators. 2. They were not investigated (Which would be a huge breach of protocol). 3. They were investigated and the finding were 'classified' or placed somewhere in a zone that wasn't reported to congress and/or the public.
I am asking Freepers to keep a look out for whom these individuals were, when they were identified, if they are active/former government employees, and what the 'investigation' demonstrated. I can find no answers on the internet.

All I know is that CNN for the first time(They said they would NEVER cover a Trump rally, he always lies according to them) but on that day, they covered the rally, from the start til he got shot, so yeah I think they had advanced knowledge of it. I think it was Plan B by the Biden Administration, off Trump, get Nikki Haley as the nominee, and have it as Biden vs Haley

There is VIDEO PROOF that the attempted assassination of Trump was a SET-UP INVOLVING THE SECRET SERVICE. In a video where the camera is BEHIND Trump pointed towards the crowd, YOU CAN SEE CROOKS (ALLEGEDLY) SCURRYING ALONG THE ROOF AND ALSO SEE A SECRET SERVICE AGENT IN THE FOREGROUND QUICKLY CROUCH DOWN BEFORE THE FIRST SHOT IS FIRED.
