4. Asked about the protests, Trump said: “I haven’t seen any protests.” Then, “It’s a friendly protest.” Every outlet in Ireland led with the demonstrations. The President never gave them the fight they needed for the story to work.

American companies employ over 200,000 people there and the Irish treasury collects billions in corporate tax from our firms. Trump’s line in March was blunter: “We had stupid leaders.” Today he just said it’s profitable for them and less so for us.

8. The protests will get the photos. But Ireland’s leaders shook his hand, the Taoiseach invited him in the first place, and the President of the United States spent the day talking about trade deficits and George Washington. That’s not chaos. That’s a man who’s very good at this. 🇺🇸🇮🇪

Sure except for the unnecessary Falklands and Irish unification comments.
While visiting Ireland, Trump mocked the UK's capability and willingness to defend the distant archipelago if Argentina launched another invasion, calling a potential conflict a "disaster" and claiming Britain wouldn't "be willing to travel that far".
