Former NBA point guard Ty Lawson put himself in an uncomfortable spotlight this past July with his latest run-in with the law. The 38-year-old was arrested on July 16 in Castle Rock, Colorado, after a liquor store employee accused him of stealing a $34 bottle of vodka.
According to police documents, Lawson allegedly carried the bottle to a nearby restaurant where officers later confronted him. Authorities also noted they believed the retired NBA player was intoxicated, documenting the smell of alcohol during their interaction.
Things reportedly escalated after Lawson was taken into custody. Police alleged he repeatedly called an officer a “b***h” and a “white b***h”while also kicking the glass wall of his holding cell and spitting on the floor.
Lawson eventually calmed down and apologized. He was booked on a theft charge involving property valued at less than $300 and released on a $500 bond.

This guy sounds like a career dirt bag. 2013, domestic violence arrest when he and his pregnant “girlfriend” fought over him receiving a phone call from “some woman”.
2020 China banned him for life after derogatory social media remarks.
Give him a couple of years, he’ll be in the news again.
Drunk and broke like a lot of athletes after the career is over.
I used to tell people who CONSTANTLY complained about the USA to move to Bangladesh...or some other third world sewer. THEN they MIGHT see how how absolutely BLESSED we are to live in the FINEST country in the world.
Only the ROMAN EMPIRE might have been bigger and better.
