Breaking: Where are the REAL men in America?
Twitter/X ^ | September 8, 2026 | General Mike Flynn

Posted on 09/08/2026 2:59:38 PM PDT by packagingguy

Too many men have quit the workforce. They simply have decided not to work, not provide for their families, or offer leadership for their sons.

The family unit has been collapsing in America for decades now partially because the man in the house decided comfort was more important than duty.

They have been spoiled.

Soft hands and weak spines.

A generation of boys are being raised on screens instead of sweat. They know every video game and almost nothing about a job that leaves dirt under their fingernails.

Reality for our nation is coming whether they (we) want it or not. A man who will not carry his load is not a man the country can afford.

Men, GET BACK TO WORK!

Before commenting on this here read the comments on X. I've never seen a ratio like this one.

He just handed Democrats ammunition for the midterms.

Stopping for a latte on the way to the gym to puff up before their newest tattoo appointment.

What kind of a man pays others to slit his family’s throats?

Ammunition? Really? Why?

Because somehow hurts the feelings of men who aren’t working? You think they’re just going to start voting Democrat because somebody hurt their feelings?

Were any of them at all ever going to vote for Trump?

Ok what happened is he posted this and the comments were almost universally negative.

In the last jobs report roughly 98% of the new jobs went to women.

Men are explaining they have all sorts of accomplishments in the military, in private business, in farming, etc. and put out resume after resume and application after application but nobody will hire them.

Nobody wants to hire American born men.

This post by Flynn is about the most unhelpful thing for the Republican Party this point before the midterms.

It’s as if he went back to being a Democrat and is actively working against Republicans.

American society no longer requires boys and teens to be men.

“”In the last jobs report roughly 98% of the new jobs went to women.”””

Men already had jobs.

It gives the impression that this is the Republican attitude about the true state of employment in this country if people associate his views with those of the Republican Party. Hopefully they won’t.

The General knows little to nothing about civilian employment in this country.

Well, for decades now they have been discouraging masculinity and men from being men…

The real surprise is probably that there are still a lot of real men out there.

Men don’t want to deal with modern women.

I agree with the General. My son and my sisters son were born within about 4 months of each other. I worked my son’s ass off, he went to MMA (Marine Military Academy) where he graduated. MMA got him into Texas A & M where he was on the Fish Drill Team that won a National Championship and he went on to get his Bachelors degree there. He now runs his own company at 50. My sister got a divorce within months of her only son being born. I have several pictures of them growing up. The last one was a few years ago. Trust me, you don’t have to talk to either of them or say a word. Just look at the picture. If you do, you will SEE the difference between a single mom’s son with no father involved in his life ever and my son who had a Dad that was on him to do his best every day. It’s truly remarkable. To both their credits they genuinely like each other anyway.

It’s not a constructive thing in my opinion to get worked up over comments about anything you see on X, more than it’s worth it getting worked up about comments that you read on YouTube underneath the video.

In the Navy, there’s a saying you would hear occasionally: “Keep a steady strain.”

It is an old nautical term from the days of sail that meant regardless of what the wind was doing don’t pull too hard or let the sheet out too fast. Just keep a steady pull (strain) on it, and it’s good advice it all walks of life.

Especially as things become more concentrated and stressful.

When you have women that thought Lindsay Clancy didn’t murder her kids, then this country is beyond repair.

We went out for dinner the other night with the son of some family friends.

He’s a well-compensated computer geek of some sort. He was almost proud of the fact that he has absolutely no idea how to use a pair of pliers. But he makes enough to pay others to do it. Good luck dude.

I’m college educated but enjoy the company of blue collars more. My son is a trucker. We had a hard time in that conversation.

His dad is a retired snake eater. Not sure how he handles it.
