The crazed plane passenger who was duct-taped and zip-tied on a flight to New Jersey first flipped over a discussion about religion with his seatmate, a controversial Messianic rabbi who’s a best-selling author dubbed a “Doomsday prophet.”
Author Jonathan Cahn said that now-fired Arizona realtor Arthur Layne Lundeen, 67, allegedly started hurling racist and homophobic slurs after first screaming at him that “Jesus is bulls–t.”
“I was the unidentified passenger and I was actually attacked, 30,000 feet in the sky. I was attacked on that plane,” Cahn revealed in a YouTube video Monday.
“I have never seen someone change in a split second from light to dark as I saw then, as if something had taken him over,” Cahn said. “He went from the friendliest guy in the world to this dark person.”
Cahn leads the Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, New Jersey, part of the Messianic Jewish movement that believes Jesus is the messiah, making it generally considered a branch of Christianity.
He is also known for his controversial books, especially his debut 2011 novel, “The Harbinger,” which draws parallels between the 9/11 attacks and the destruction of the Kingdom of Israel, linking the events as a divine warning.
Another book, 2015’s “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” suggested a great global catastrophe was imminent, with the New York Times calling him a “Doomsday prophet.”
Cahn claimed it was the cover of his newest novel, “The Altar of Pergamon,” that “triggered” Lundeen after they had been chatting amiably on last Thursday’s Newark-bound American Airlines flight.
Cahn said he referenced “the reality of the real power of god on Earth and in our lives,” leaving Lundeen irate and “cursing Jesus” and “blaspheming Jesus and God.”
He claimed Lundeen then started saying, “It’s all bulls–t. Jesus is bulls–t.”

Unfortunately people take it to far sometimes. There are some outliers there who abuse their freedoms.
I would say the greater danger is the attribution of violence to someone did say anything wrong. That is a tactic of the left and in full force in the higher courts in Europe.
Ping to #80
Sorry “didn’t say anything wrong”
Keep your yap shut
You will.
What's to understand? Messianic Jews believe their Messiah and Savior has already arrived on earth and his name is Jesus Christ. Same beliefs Christians have in a nutshell.
Go for it.
I have NEVER met a happy atheist. All were mad at the world, and hated everyone, for being born.
No kidding. Just watched one of his videos. The guy knows more about Jewish heritage & prophecy than almost anyone.
Great, you’ll be easy
Really?
.
I had a long flight with a British seat mate and He asked me about
“Partial Birth” abortion and I Discribed
It in All it’s Horrible Details.
He said he Was going Home to die from Some cancer. I don’t remember any Religion coming but silently praying for Him and encouraging Him to Finish Well His RACE.
I was an Indy Car mechanic at the time.
He left At Ease and I Felt good Too.
If he asked you about abortion, that’s a different matter.
But it’s impolite to assume that some stranger you happen to be sitting next to wants to hear your declaration of religious belief.
Impolite?
I just got Snubbed at my Post Box for Saying “Howdy” to Some Scowlng biddy!
When I Got my Mail I announced
“No Bills” -——
Another “Scowl”’xxxxx
So I Ripped a Loud “STRAWBERRY”!
.
HA!
....
Explain That.
Instant Halloween costume idea, though, and cheap!
“his debut 2011 novel, “The Harbinger,”” is totally boring and pointless. Sorry he had to sit next to a loser.
Possession. Easy defense. Put him on the stand. Say who is your savior during trial. Then call a bishop.
I don’t like talking to strangers...period. The minute I sit down on a plane I put my earphones in. I make sure they’re the wired ones so that people can see them. If the person next to me tries to talk to me I just point to my headphones and turn away. I usually have nothing playing on them but it is a sure conversation killer. lol
