PLYMOUTH, Mass. – A judge declared a mistrial in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial Friday on the seventh day of deliberations — but gave her defiant lawyer one hour to file an emergency appeal against the ruling.

The 12-person jury – made up of nine women and three men – told Judge William Sullivan that they could not agree on whether to convict Clancy, 36, of three counts of first-degree murder.

You can kill babies up to the day of birth in many states now. Clancy fans are merely advocating for the right to kill children after birth. There are quite a few of them by the way….😳

>Unknown, but hopefully the holdout will prove to not be a pussy. Those types generally have more success at fighting back.

If they acquit on this, the next time a woman gets raped in Boston, prepare for the “testosterone psychosis” defense.

If I were on the jury, murder one, three counts with a recommendation for three consecutive LWOPs.

Murderous, narcissistic bitch should hang.

“… walking around with penises.”

Youre asserting facts not in evidence

I've been called to jury duty only three times. The first was a murder case . I clearly wrote that I did not consider Psychiatry a legitimate science and mocked that their uniform they should be of a medieval wizard. Dismissed.

The second time I wrote numerous times that I despised pedos. Dismissed. The third one was a Federal case. Since this was at the same time as the second I wrote that I was already being in the process of being drafted for that other case so that was dismissed as well .

Never thought that (my husband thought like you). With that many women, who tend to do things en masse, there was no way that they were going for a guilty verdict of any sort. Women are pack animals, sorry to say. (Not me, my husband says I think like a guy. 😃)

May I ask is you are American, because by this comment it appears not. This is in reference to a desperation throw in the last seconds of an American football game

If that’s where we are in America today, that the jury was 11-1 for acquittal, then we’re done as a society and the Great Experiment is over. Throw in the towel, turn out the lights. Done.

I continue to hope the the jury was 11-1 for conviction. I wonder if we’ll find out for sure.

They’d better retry her, because those kids deserve justice. They can’t just let her walk.

How do we know that the jury was 11-1 to acquit? I must have missed something. I listen to a lot of talk radio and I have not heard this; I’ve only heard speculation.

Change of venue. Move the trial to Oklahoma and deliberations will last 15 minutes. GUILTY.

I think that standard would apply in all states. A defendant never has to prove their innocence. That goes no matter the reason why the state believes they are guilty. The defendant’s mental status is just another factor added into evidence.
