"Fox News did not lose Maria Bartiromo in some mysterious “next chapter.” The network fired her. Then it hid behind a thank-you note and hoped nobody would ask why a woman who spent twelve and a half years building Fox Business a real audience vanished from the air after August 9."

“Right now, there is a whole, an entire generation that never knew anything that didn’t come out of this tube. This tube is the gospel, the ultimate revelation; this tube can make or break presidents, popes, prime ministers; this tube is the most awesome g**d**n propaganda force in the whole godless world, and woe is us if it ever falls into the hands of the wrong people, and that’s why woe is us that Edward George Ruddy died. Because this company is now in the hands of CCA, the Communications Corporation of America; there’s a new chairman of the board, a man called Frank Hackett, sitting in Mr. Ruddy’s office on the twentieth floor. And when the 12th largest company in the world controls the most awesome g**d**n propaganda force in the whole godless world, who knows what sh*t will be peddled for truth on this network?”

Integrity. If she thought them withholding, the show was wrong she could have quit and then show it to Trump. She broke a corporate rule. It does not matter if you agree with it or not if she didn’t like the corporate rule of not disclosing confidential material then she should have quit.
I wonder if Trump will call on the FCC to lose broadcast licenses for the Fox owned television stations like he did with Disney. Probably not.
Disney will use this bit of information in their suit against Trump and the FCC.

'Maria Bartiromo Denies Fox Firing, Hires Bryan Freedman As Attorney: “We Have the Receipts”
As has been pointed out, she has more money than she can spend and no doubt has contingency plans for any vengeance-minded people thinking bad thoughts. My concern is who ratted her out on the White House end.
Yeeeeh!
No one’s watching
Yea, they called it just before midnight on the east coast.
So what? How did that affect the election since all the polls were closed and all that was left was the counting of the votes already cast?
Instead of two or more questionable stories about ANY news item, it would be nice to just get the plain truth.
I don’t think FOX will take her back. Have they ever rehired a fired employee?
“Whoa! To replace Maria? That’s their bench?”
Maria joins a long list of people have left Fox and Fox is as strong as ever. Apparently viewer loyalty is to the network, not the people.

“ How do they know that she showed this alleged memo to Trump?”
***************************************************
Possibly because someone, somewhere said it somewhere on the internet so therefore it must be true.
“ I don’t think FOX will take her back. Have they ever rehired a fired employee?”
I didn’t say that
She showed that FOX is no better than CNN- Its like the news agencies need conflict between them like the ying and yang fox needs cnn, cnn needs fox.
Well, that’s what the allegation is why she was fired.
Take your holier than thou attitude elsewhere, it is not in the line of FR first amendment thought.
She worked at Fox Business because she liked the work - I really don't think she NEEDS a job.
She should be able to pick and choose whatever suits her to fill her days. If it's working for Trump, then that will probably happen.
And more relevant with each passing day.
