You know, we're still pretty fresh off the Cuban missile crisis that was still only like 15-20 years before, so it's a tumultuous period ... it was really scary.

Thank you very much and God bless you,

I knew an educated professional guy who thought that happened and never heard of the Korean War.
Ryan is Canadian, what do you expect.
Beta-Canadiansplaining.
That was in the 60s. I remember the basement picnics.
I liked this guy in “Cannon Ball Run” but not so much now ...
Yes, I remember the 1980s well. Bad times. The Cuban Missile Crisis, the Monitor and the Virginia shooting at each other, and Al Capone causing trouble everywhere.
Thank goodness Andrew Jackson was president to help keep the country safe.
I liked this guy in “Cannon Ball Run” but not so much now ...
You’re thinking of Turd Ferguson.
Ryan Reynolds says the ‘80s were traumatic because of events like "the Cuban missile crisis"
I didn't hear what Mr. Reynolds said, but Holly Ash probably could have worded the title better imo. Web search claims that politically motivated (my words) media was not letting public forget about Cuban Missile Crisis, even in the 1980s. In fact, I read a media reference to Hiroshima within the last week. Trump47 has stated that Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb.
...and let us not forget the Homo acceptance Catalyst know as the New Wave Music overwhelmed the land...
“Johnnie” on Watters World interviewed a woman at the beach who thought Bill Clinton was the first President of the United States.
A follow up questions for these idiots should be, “Do you know how many genders there are?” and ‘Can men get pregnant... I’ll bet beach bimbos - having graduated from American High Schools know the gender answer.. and ‘know’ men can get pregnant.
He's also an actor. Strike two.
Beat me. So I didn’t post.
There was that movie about the Kennedy…”Good Chowdah…”. Maybe that is what he is remembering. LOL
RE: Beat me. So I didn’t post.
I beg your pardon. Fellow high intellects here have to be courteous to each other. You go first from now on. 😇
Thaw your eggs out, AOC, we’ve found the perfect match for you!
He was born in 1976 so he was 4 years old to 14.
He is a sack of crap with a sh!tty wife.
What a Canadian loser.
He’s on a roll
He is making me feel a little traumatized right now.
Well the missile crisis was big but I think the Spanish Armada sort of overshadowed it.
There is a movie, Matinee, starring John Goodman, that, to me, captures the Cuban missile crisis almost perfectly. I was in high school in 1962 and certainly had fantasies about being in a fallout shelter with a cute cheerleader.
At the time, there was a feeling that the world was going to end. Two books, ‘On the Beach’ and ‘Alas Babylon’ were popular. But back then high school students could actually read, and kind of understand, books.
