Fox News is parting ways with Maria Bartiromo after more than 12 years with the company. The network announced the move on Thursday afternoon.
What We Know: Bartiromo has anchored multiple programs across Fox News Media, including Mornings with Maria on Fox Business Network. The morning program aired weekdays from 6-9 AM ET. She also hosted Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street on Friday evenings from 7-7:30 PM ET. Meanwhile, her Fox News program Sunday Morning Futures will have a temporary change this weekend. Fox News will have Jason Chaffetz host Sunday Morning Futures this week. The network plans to announce a new permanent host at a later date. Bartiromo’s departure also brings an end to her roles across both Fox News and Fox Business Network. Her tenure included a lengthy run covering markets, business, and politics for the company.
What They Said: “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.” -Fox News statement
What Remains Unclear: Fox News hasn’t announced when Bartiromo’s final appearances will air or whether another role remains available for her. The network also hasn’t identified who will permanently succeed her on Sunday Morning Futures. Additionally, details about Bartiromo’s next professional move remain unknown.
What It Means: Bartiromo’s exit represents a significant change for Fox News Media’s business-news lineup. Her presence helped connect Fox Business Network’s financial coverage with Fox News’ political audience. Now, the company must determine how to replace a familiar face across multiple important time slots. For Bartiromo, the departure opens the door to a new chapter after more than a decade at Fox.

I will not miss her.
I’m under the impression that all these cable networks are getting rid of their top on-air personalities because they can’t afford them anymore.
Vance laughs it off with no real response.
“ Thanks for the Mammaries!”

LOL I remember when Rush expressed admiration on that front.

“I figured her days were numbered when she dared to call the inflation numbers “troubling”. That’s extremely disloyal to the admin.”
That wouldn’t have bothered the Murdochs one little bit.
I think Hannity has infinite job security.
I thnk she made 17 million per year. I’d quit after 1 year.
I wish I could have seen her when she was working the coat-check window at her father’s restaurant.
Name some other current top line Fox broadcaster who are disloyal to the admin.

Had a second degree of separation friendship w him. Very nice guy
The idea that Trump was ‘stealing a look’ at her cleavage is both quietly amusing and even understandable, but look closely at that photo. Trump’s line of sight is not focused on Maria, who is sitting behind him. Mr. Trump is looking at something at his 2’O Clock position. Maria sits at his
4’O Clock position. So, there’s that.

Mamma Mia!

Her experience and news record gained her lots of “gets”. That is, interviews that to others were not able to get.
I am sorry to see her leaving Fox Business. I watch that Fox network as there are not a ton of News Barbies but business reporters/hosts who are not just a pretty face.
Where will she pop up? It’s doubtful she will just fade out of the business.
