Jelly Roll can’t say he didn’t ask for it.
After the rotund, country-rooted rapper drew fire from fans for using his guest-starring stint on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for consecutive nights of bashing President Donald Trump with all the sneering condescension of the modern left, he responded to critics by essentially telling them to stop listening to him.
He might not have been expecting too many to take his advice.
In a podcast Monday and a post on the social media platform X, conservative social media personality Johnson reported that he’d run the numbers on Jelly Roll’s social media accounts and found that “hundreds of thousands” of the entertainer’s followers had abandoned him.
With the aid of a request to the artificial intelligence engine Grok, and using social media tracking websites, Johnson found that Jelly Roll’s followers had plummeted after his Kimmel guest-hosting spots.
Figures for TikTok were unavailable, Johnson said, but the number of followers lost for Jelly Roll on Instagram, Facebook, and X was considerably more than 100,000. And that isn’t the last of it.
“You have to assume there’s going to be attrition in other platforms,” Johnson said. “It’s hundreds of thousands … of subscribers.”

He's one of those individuals who sort of pop up out of nowhere to become a "personality" that people follow. He is a white man who decided to be a rapper on social media, thereby drawing many thousands of followers and subscribers. Those numbers made him newsworthy in our modern shallow meaning of news.
He’s a real dandy.
Mr. Roll had around ~30 million social media followers.
We much prefer good ‘ol Jelly Bean from the Blacklist with Raymond Reddington.
He’s the new ‘Dixie Chicks’...............
So he went on Kimmel, a show nobody watches, and bashed Trump. He was the hero for a day.
30 million whose only raison d’etre is to follow a fool?
And on the second night he dared Trump supporter people to stop listening to his songs..............
