Yes. , I know in police shootings, people frequently criticized cops and say, why didn’t they shoot someone in the leg to disable them? Rather than taking a shot that killed them. It’s a perennial argument about police allegedly using excessive force.
What these people don’t understand ,is shooting someone in the leg, if the shot is in the right spot, it could cause someone to bleed out and die anyway. From being shot in the leg.
The crazy lady’s death is also a shame. If it had to happen, well then, so be it, but it’s really too bad she too could not be saved from the consequences of her own craziness.
There was an incident posted here years ago where a shoplifter, who had been banned from Walmart or Target, showed up again to steal and tried to make a getaway in her car. A policeman tried to stop her and she drove off with him clinging to her door. He killed her and someone here posted a question, asking why he couldn’t shoot a warning shot in the air.
