Tiger Woods was suspended from driving for five years and handed a fine as the golfing icon struck a plea deal at a Florida court Wednesday morning in connection with a rollover crash in March.
The four-time PGA Championship winner, 50, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test at Martin County circuit court, just north of Palm Beach County.
Wearing a dark blue suit and patterned blue tie, Woods looked grim-faced but said nothing as he entered the court alongside his girlfriend Vanessa Trump amid a throng of reporters.
In court, he spoke only to confirm that he had read the deal.
Woods previously pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence after his Land Rover clipped a truck and rolled onto its side while traveling at high speeds on a beachside residential road on Jupiter Island.
The troubled golfer told an arresting officer at the time that he was looking down at his phone and changing the radio station when he hit the truck, after crawling out of his vehicle uninjured.
Woods’ breathalyzer test showed no signs of alcohol, but he refused a urine test and showed signs of impairment.
Two pain pills were found in his pocket by deputies, a sheriff’s office report said.

That’s probably best for everyone
I’m pretty sure Tiger can afford a driver on call 25-7.
Funny that he has been avoiding it for so long
Not a problem in the least. He’ll simply build a guest house for his chauffeur so he can go anywhere 24/7.
Let’s hope he has enough money to hire a driver when he needs to go somewhere and doesn’t have to ask a friend for a lift.
If you read other press about him, he still is a mess and in denial. And his money still is shielding him from making the changes necessary to get his life back on the right path. He is isolated and surrounded by yes men and enablers. Wealth is a curse to those with addictions. We may find out we have another Whitney Houston situation in a couple years.
He’s a notorious cheapskate.
Pardon the pun but that's par for the course for a certain demographic.
Having a driver is what he should have done in the first damned place instead of inconveniencing a whole lot of people.
This guy is narcissistic and entitled and always has been.
I’d say it’s 50/50 he gets caught driving again before the 5 years is up.
************
AND the PAIN keeps coming, ON and ON but he has the cash.
Swallow a couple of 100s and keep on rolling..
Congratulations!!!
You have won today’s internet!
nah... He’ll just get him a white b**ch to drive him around while he reclines in the passenger seat. Quite common these days...
He’s a notorious jerk as well.
I had the misfortune of seeing him play at the tournament where I am two years in a row when he was in his heyday.
I won’t go into detail but let’s just say sportsmanship is a foreign concept to that Ahole.
I’m sure you can tell, a fan of tiger woods I ain’t.
You are correct.
On the courses, spectators would often wave to star players as they went by.
95% waved back and smiled.
Tiger blew off nearly everyone.
It would seem he already has a gal. I’m not sure she wouldn’t hire a driver herself, tho’.
Tiger needs to buy a FSD Tesla
Denial in not just a river in Egypt
It would seem he already has a gal. I’m not sure she wouldn’t hire a driver herself, tho’.
“Baby, you can drive my car....”
