Kimya Holmeso, a Democrat Judge, is running for re-election in Louisiana.
Her former fiancé, Arthur Allen, was charged with stealing over $712,000 in COVID relief funds.
During their time together, Allen reportedly gifted Holmes a $765,000 house, a diamond ring, and a Corvette.
Holmes is now claiming that she "didn't know" he was charged with a felony until he pleaded guilty. She has since broken off the engagement.
She continues to live in the same house he gifted to her.

Her term is up in Dec 2026, she is running for re-election.
She spent over a decade with non-profits defending indigent (illegal) clients. She defended numerous ‘indigents’ accused of murder.
Now, as a judge, she brags on her election page of low confinement in jails, and low-to-no bonds for criminals.

Aaaaand, accepts gifts near one million dollars from paramours.
I’d really like to see the Feds at Justice and Treasury dig in to her finances. Otherwise, she’s untouchable in Orleans Parish, Section D, Criminal Court.
I thought judges were supposed to have good judgment.
