My friends it's the timing I'm questioning. Early voting is no earlier than 45 days before November. Is the Sept. 9/10 peaking too early? 25th anniversary of 911? I remember the 1994 Contract With America was presented on Sept. 28, six weeks before election day. Is there another contract in the making? The lines are clearer than ever before. Please tell me it's gonna be awesome.

Here’s another. They will be competing with the start of the NFL season on those 2 days-nationally televised. If the games start at 8PM EST everything will have to stop early. The 4 teams that will be playing are from deep blue states so perhaps we won’t need them to watch but there’s gotta be something to it. These experts make good money to plan this right.

It would take 2 sets of knocking per household. The first would be to get info and encourage one to vote. The 2nd followup would be to let them know we haven’t forgot them. No, not too early. This timing is about as good as it can get. They need time to organize, rally, deploy, and deliver at the end. Heck, GOP ad buying did not start until last week as dims have been spending what they have all summer. dims are just lying that this will backfire. Incredibly brilliant idea.

I would guess that 10-20% of republicans are hard core enough that each of them could ‘adopt’ a non voter or two. Non-voters should be on record at county GOP offices. Think of them as animal shelter clients wanting to be adopted.

Bad timing yes. If I were paranoid I would suspect it is planned by operatives for the other side.

From now to Nov MAGA and Republicans should be knocking on doors, registering their supporters to vote and getting out the vote.

We may not like it but EARLY VOTING exists. It exists for one and only one reason...to benefit the side that has a ground game. In a good ground game you get voters to the polls on the same day you knock on their door...not hoping they will be motivated 5 or 10 days later.
