Because Donald Trump comes from the business world, unlike his predecessors in office, he has made it clear he prefers negotiating with adversaries to war, and economic strangulation when negotiating with them fails.
From Genesis on, the naming of things has been deemed significant. Leftist pols know this and are careful how they label what they are doing. The right, not so much. Earlier this month I wrote about the ridiculous D.C. federal courts' efforts to halt construction of what has been called the “Trump Ballroom.” I think it’s time to call this what it really is: the renovation of the East Wing. The ballroom, the much-needed official reception space, is a significant shelter against attack and sits atop a critical national security complex.
CBS said plans include drone-proof ceilings, walls, windows, and roofs; a rooftop drone base designed for large numbers of drones (intended to help protect the broader Washington area); bullet-, ballistic-, and blast-proof glass (described as several inches thick and ‘highly transparent,’ transparency being important for windows); missile-resistant columns, roofs, and beams; hardened concrete/steel construction claimed capable of withstanding extreme threats like nuclear blasts; titanium fencing; sniper nests; biodefense elements; and secure comms. For ballroom dancing.
Underneath will be “up to six stories” of subterranean complex including bomb shelters, a high-tech hospital, research areas, enhanced ventilation filters, and ‘top-secret military features.’
Friday was the last day the stay of the district Court order halting construction (which was almost 65% completed) was in effect. That afternoon Chief Justice Roberts extended the stay “pending further order of the chief Justice or the Court.”
The moronic press suggested that the project could still be halted -- that the stay was just for now.

So, if I read it correctly, then the renovations will be completed before the SC could stop construction.
Iran’s words do not matter if oil is able to flow at the pace it was before Donald Trump responded to Iran’s 47 year war on the USA and Israel, and, ultimately, on Western Civilization.
The “judges” who halt such reasonable construction/renovations embarrass the Judicial and themselves. Many “judges” need extreme “renovation”...off the bench.

If the Democrats get back in power, they will swiftly go about destroying (figuratively, if not literally) everything Trump has built. They are insanely consumed by hatred.

Well, courts have done something similar, if not on such a scale. If memory serves, about 35-40 years ago, the Army had constructed a large and expensive building on the Presidio of San Francisco. A Sierra Clubber or similar was driving by and saw the building as it was being completed.
Said enviromentalist sued under the National Evvironmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the courts prevented finishing out the nearly complete structure. The Army lost the lawsuit and was then required to do complete and expensive NEPA work to tear the building down as ordered.
I don’t have the citations, but you can look it up. I think my summary is essentially correct. Clarice is correct on scale, but progressives would not hesitate to ask the Court to order the work in progress stopped and removed.
Yes, and Trump is a peace monger. He's worked to end wars around the world in order to stop the killing. He's tried, albeit without success, to end the war in Ukraine since he took office.

What the left is really objecting about is that the ballroom will be forever known as the Trump ballroom. It will remind America everytime it is mentioned of the productive Trump admin.

This is a deliberate misreading.
President Trump never framed the war on Iran as a series of negotiations. He did NOT approach this as a “businessman.” If he did, there’d have been a meeting or meetings before the initial attack.
Americans don’t have so short an attention span as to forget that the stated goal was unconditional surrender. We’re clearly not going to achieve that.

Lower ankle-biting federal courts have established themselves with the power to “pre clear” executive decisions by PDJT, which is an authority nowhere in the Constitution.

What these courts reminds me of is the Council of Revision in Madison’s Virginia Plan, which of course, was soon removed from consideration.
That’s just not true.
The stated goal was always to keep Iran from having nukes - that has already been a success.
A secondary goal was to weaken the regime in hopes the Iranian people would overthrow them. They have obviously been weakened - but the rest is up to the people.
A third goal was to cripple the regimes ability to use the Straits of Hormuz as a choke point. I believe that goal is being met - although not fast enough for my liking.
Unconditional surrender? I doubt President Trump or anyone else cares whether or not Iran says the words “we surrender”.
