Yes, Jameela, There Was (And Still Is) Slavery
American Thinker ^ | 16 Aug, 2026 | James Zumwalt

Anyone still clinging to the mythical belief slavery is an evil of the white man in which only minorities suffered, must be dispossessed of that illusion.

Jameela Jamil, born in Britain to an Indian father and Pakistani mother, moved to the U.S. in 1996—she’s an actress who spent most of her early career working in a range of activities, getting hired only after misrepresenting prior experience, putting her on the road to Hollywood.

Recently, on TalkTV, she went on a racist rant, condemning British white people as “the most evil people in history,” due to their colonization around the world and participation in the slave trade.

Jamil has spent much time portraying characters she is not, doing so adequately enough to move her career forward. However, performing as a world history professor would be a career-ending experience. Ranting without a researched script, she clearly demonstrated during her appearance a need to only tell one side of history.

Unfortunately, as Jamil and other U.S. activists clamor for reparations to be paid to today’s descendants of slave trade victims, they ignore a key reason why black slavery prospered.

For the most part, European slave traders had no need to penetrate deep into the African continent to capture their slave “cargo.” A “delivery” service was available by which the slaves Europeans bought were brought to various African port cities for sale. It was this delivery service—i.e., those who captured slaves from within the African continent and transported them to the port cities—that really was the most critical part of the entire slave trade.

Providing this delivery service were the victors of warring African tribes who had taken battlefield prisoners. Initially enslaved by their captors for their own labor needs, victors learned a greater value was to be had selling them to European

And don’t forget those tribal leaders sold their slaves to Muslims who, in turn, sold them to Europeans.

The role of Islam in the slave trade was non existent in the article. Islam explicitly gives slavery two thumbs up. In the places in the world where slavery still exists, it does so because of Islam. Slavery under Islam was much more cruel. Males were routinely castrated after capture. On the forced brutal march to market only about 10% survived. Simple capitalism would suggest they would have had better treatment if only because of the lost profits involved. Clearly there was some element of cruel thought involved that was more influential than mere profits.

I’ve seen many interviews on YouTube with young progressives who truly believe that slavery did not exist in the world until the United States of America invented it so that blacks could pick cotton.

Our education system teaches lies.

Throughout history, individuals of White, European, descent created 95% of civilization.

Per Robert Heinlein’s definition of “Bad Luck,” or crabs in a bucket, is it any wonder the rest of the world hates them

A lot of blacks are slaves of worshipping their God Obama even though he's done absolutely zilcho for them

Africa also sold white slaves, not just black slaves.

The Barbary pirates were a diverse group primarily consisting of North African Arabs and Berbers, as well as a significant number of European renegades (converts to Islam) from England, Italy, Greece, and other regions who brought naval expertise to the corsair fleets.

While the corsairs themselves were predominantly non-Black Mediterranean peoples, the slave trade they operated was not racially defined. Their captives and slaves in North Africa included Black, brown, and white individuals of various religions, including Christians, Muslims, and Jews.

...condemning British White people as 'the most evil people in history,' due to their colonization around the world and participation in the slave trade.

Yet the likes of "Jameela" fall all over themselves and risk their lives to live in White, Western countries.

I will boycott everything she ever appears in.

“Thus, but for black tribal slave traders, slavery would never have exploded as it did.”
The Aztecs were proficient at slavery, and used many of their slaves for ritual human sacrifice, including children, a practice despised in the Old Testament when practiced by followers of Baal. The barbarity of the slave trade arguably was easier to accept for white Christians when they compared it to the practices of the people they were subjugating, after the discovery of the New World. The 16th century world was awash in blood. Here’s part of the Declaration of Independence that all schoolchildren should be taught -
“He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.”

They are so evil that your parents moved to their country?

Then they moved you to another country founded by White people where the majority of the population is White?

Have you ever bothered to look and see what people on the subcontinent have done? There are plenty of practices that are definitely not pretty.

Given that Jameela hails from India maybe we need to throw the Hindu cast system into the discussion. I wonder if she was care to defend that? Or if she is of a muslim background, how about the Islamic subjugation of much of the Indian sub-continent prior to the arrival of the Portuguese, French and English? Bottom line: there has been plenty of barbarism to go around since the first hominid picked up a stick and brandished it.

The trade was fueled by firearms, which the black African muslim slave traders used to capture more slaves.

Due to the experience of the Jews in Egypt 4 thousand years ago the Judeo-Christian tradition has been the anti-slavery light in a world of shadows.

We are concerned about slavery to sin of which one human owning another human is just one example of sin.
