President Trump said Friday that he plans to declare the Strait of Hormuz “a territory of the United States” after the Iran war.
“After we finish defeating Iran, which is being very badly defeated — pretty soon I’ll be declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the United States,” Trump said during a Long Island rally for Republican candidates in the gubernatorial and congressional elections.
Trump’s preliminary peace deal with Iran — signed June 17 — fell apart last month after Iran attempted to assert control over the strait, including by opening fire on commercial ships that used a sea lane preferred by the US.

If I were in charge.... after vaporizing Iran.... acknowledging they are dug in like love. Would fund and support a Cana through the UAE. Completely bypassing any territorial Iranian waters. With new pipelines and a safe canal through the UAE based through Dubai.... Iran is lost.
(Indeed I recognized zero trust with Islamic dumps like UAE but we have an eternally changing landscape and we have to deal with what we have right now.)
I think he's an ACTUAL clownass who was given an unprecedented mandate, a historic coalition and all three branches of government, but somehow pissed it away and made a giant mess of his presidency. It's not "trolling," it's not 3d chess. It's exactly what failure and foolishness looks like, and why we need to put geriatrics out to pasture where they belong.
