Sometimes, bravery is found in unexpected places.
The recording artist known as Boy George was so moved by an exhibition in London dedicated to the Jews slaughtered, tortured, sexually assaulted and abducted on Oct. 7, 2023, at the Nova Music Festival in Israel — “The Moment Music Stood Still” — he recorded the hauntingly beautiful reggae tune “We Will Dance Again.”
Some of the lyrics are openly supportive of the Jewish state, a risky move for an entertainer in the current climate.
“You say genocide, I say war / When you’re attacked, that’s what the army’s for.
“Does it get ugly? You bet it does / When I know you want to kill every last one of us.”
Other lines are heartbreakingly evocative, describing unflinchingly the brutality inflicted by Hamas savages on young people who gathered at Nova to move their bodies for joy and peace.
“You never mention Oct. 7 / Young girls raped against trees / Murdered brutally / For the crime of dancing.”
The song, made with AI, is tragic, at times chilling. And unforgettable.
It also expresses the deep support and affection the singer/songwriter, 65, whose real name is George Alan O’Dowd, has for Israel and the Jews.
The gesture has spelled career suicide.

I hung my head in shame as I went to my local record store and bought the Culture Club album because my dad, for some bizarre reason, thought ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me’ was da bomb. I got snickers for weeks every time I went back.
Good days.
I could not stand that song. But now I have an increased regard for the Boy.
Let’s Hear It For The Boy
Yesss! Didn’t care for his music, but love him now!
Adolf Hitler defined the "big lie" in his 1925 book Mein Kampf. He wrote that the common people "more readily fall victim to the big lie than to the small one," because they commit petty falsehoods themselves but would never imagine someone else having the impudence to fabricate a colossal untruth.
The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem website explains how the genocide accusation against Israel is employing the Big Lie methodology.
The population in Gaza is larger than it was before the hostilities commenced back in 2023. The Gaza and West Bank populations have grown continually over the decades.
John 12:25
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Good to know. I sure am not enjoying being a widow.
So are you saying I shouldn’t have posted another article on the same subject?
No, I’m just giving people MORE INFORMATION about the subject, Boy George..............
Plus by adding the KEYWORD ‘boygeorge’ to the article, it automatically brings up a listing of all other articles that have that keyword..................
I just looked up his songs - I like Karma Chameleon and I’ll Tumble for Ya. Just purchased them and added them to my playlist.
bkmk
The fact that Israel’s opposing genocidal forces that attacked her (it?) is controversial at all tells you what an upside down, manipulated world we live in.
I’m shocked at both how effective the anti-Isrsel propaganda is.
And how stupid the people who believe it are.
There are literally more people in Gaza now than when the war started due to babies being born. Israel provided 4000+ calories of food per day per person, plus ample free electricity and water.
The Jews are clever folk. If they wanted to genocide Gaza they did the exact opposite.
Tucker Carlson said they’re not real Jews.

“...Tucker Carlson said they’re not real Jews...”
Well, Tucker Carlson says a lot of things. His mouth is a vending machine these days. He doesn’t open it without money being inserted first. Put in enough money, and he’ll say whatever you want. If someone pays him more than Qatar is currently paying him, he’ll turn on that extra dime.
While I didn’t agree with his antics in the 80s and 90s, unlike most here, I always liked his music both Culture Club and the Crying Game theme. Hey, I can be a sucker for catchy bubble gum pop. I also liked Wang Chung. So shoot me.
