Voters asked for mass deportations. Clear demand. High priority. No ambiguity. The guy running DHS is making the case for “immigration reform.” We’ve seen this script before. [Tr] (Video at URL)

"Immigration reform” is the polite label they use when they want to legalize people who entered illegally and call it compassion.

Enforcement always comes “later.”

Later never arrives.

You don’t hire a fire chief who keeps talking about better ways to negotiate with the arsonists.

You hire the one who puts the fire out.

Putting the “reform” guy in charge of deportations is a reliable system for ensuring you lose.

Not a conspiracy. Just pattern recognition."

- Naturalizations outpace deportations nearly 2 to 1.

~ 1 million green cards issued (13 million present).

~ 900,000 H-1Bs and dependents approved.

~ 700,000 H-2As and dependents approved.

~ 450,000 H-2Bs, L-1s, and dependents approved.

~ Allowance for 600,000 Chinese college students.

Infinity Indians will not help America. They undermine American college graduates prospects. The pattern of in-group preference when some reach or are hired for positions where they can actualize their in-group preference in whom they hire will not help Americans.

Stanford study found that while American & Chinese freshmen have similar critical thinking skills in STEM fields, a gap emerges during their university years. American students ultimately surpass their Chinese counterparts by their senior year.

2019 Stanford-led study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) confirmed that American computer science seniors substantially outperform their peers in India, as well as in China and Russia.

Google (AI): “Due to massive local demand, many international programs lean heavily on commercialized, fast-track coding curricula. While these produce junior developers capable of writing basic boilerplate code, they lack the multi-year, rigorous mathematical foundation embedded in top U.S. undergraduate degrees.

The financial and infrastructural backing per undergraduate student in a typical U.S. university dwarfs that of non-elite institutions globally.”

As with most of these issues, the problem is not MarkWayne Mullin, the problem is the guy who put him in office. That would be President DJT. It amazes me how people never blame Trump, but blame everyone else, as if Trump is not the President who has executive authority over the government and his appointees. Trump has had a terrible track record of placing people in important positions. The criteria is simply for people to tell him how wonderful he is.

Allowance for 600,000 Chinese college students.

Trump made the deal because we needed rare earth minerals from China.

You act as if Trump isn’t stopped at every turn by the batshit crazy Dems & lawfare. Monday morning quarterbacking isn’t brave. It’s what “those who can’t” do.

Just enforce existing laws, no reform needed.

While Markwayne Mullin is calling for immigration reform, specifically advocating for changes to employment visa programs to address labor shortages while maintaining a hardline stance against amnesty. As Homeland Security Secretary, he stated at the National Governors Association Summer Meeting in August 2026 that the U.S. needs "actual immigration reform" to modernize the system and "plug holes" in the economy where domestic workforce participation is low.

So, you don't exactly know what you are talking about,m when it comes to the issue. Not many American want to work if the fields of farms/

So, what is your brililiant solution to that real problem that exists when it comes to garm labor? While, not mentioned explicitly, this is most likely the area is talking about, and he is not calling for amnesty. Actual deportations have picked up, they have not slowed down art all. The bigger obstacle to deportation are activists judges, not what MarkWayne Mullins is calling for when he speaks of immigration reform.

Why is there nothing in the post explaining the complaint against Secretary Mullin?

Up until 1964 we had a program of contract labor with Mexican nationals, stemming from labor shortages during WW II. The bracero program had problems, but they were fixable. The program was ended under pressure from unions and domestic farm labor groups, led by Cesar Chavez. Something of that nature could be revived, given suitable safeguards against abuse.

Pay a real decent competitive wage. Comes from being a real authentic citizen.

And those jobs would be filled by citizens competition. ✅

Go visit farms, and reprt back to us here at Free Republic, how many Americans are working in the fields. Not many Americans are willing to work in thse environments, especially when we have more sustaining safety nets that pays more than field jobs pay.

The wealthy people think a wealth tax is not possible. They are sadly mistaken. The corporations themselves can be taxed.

Corporations might have to issue more shares at the rate of 2% a year [or 2.5% to be Islamic] to be put into a federal sovereign wealth ETF (and the accounts of lower-income shareholders).

Shares of the federal sovereign wealth ETF might be placed in Newsom accounts.

The word “equity” is used for a reason by the leftists.
