This one is for my Democrat-voting, left-leaning, liberal gun owners.
I know there are a lot of you out there.
I know you support the Second Amendment.
And I know a lot of you think people on this side are fear-mongering when we say the modern Democratic Party is becoming openly hostile to gun rights.
But consider this the warning.
The Democratic Party you think you’re voting for is not the same Democratic Party that exists today.
A growing part of the party now openly identifies with democratic socialism, and that movement is not confused about the Second Amendment.
They wrote it down.
The Democratic Socialists of America published an article literally titled “The Second Amendment is a Threat to us All.”
In that same piece, they argued that the way to reduce gun violence is to remove guns from society.
Then they drafted language to repeal the Second Amendment.
Then they called for banning pump-action, semi-automatic, and automatic firearms.
And what would you be allowed to keep?
One bullet.
Loaded by hand.
One at a time.
So when people say “nobody is coming for your guns,” understand what is actually happening.
The language got softer.
The branding got friendlier.
The word “democratic” got placed in front of socialism so classical liberals would not flinch.
But the destination did not change.
Repeal the Second Amendment.
Ban the guns.
Centralize power.
Then they try to gaslight you with the Marx quote about workers not surrendering arms. But Marx did not believe in your individual right to keep and bear arms as a free citizen. He believed an armed working class was useful for revolution.
After the revolution, the party commands the guns.
That is the arrangement.
That is why the Second Amendment cannot survive under a socialist structure.
Because the Second Amendment is built on the idea that the citizen is free.
That the people have rights the government does not grant.
That the people retain the ability to protect themselves, their homes, their families, and their liberty.
Socialism does not work with that kind of citizen.
It needs dependency.
It needs central control.
It needs the government to be the final authority.
So if you are a liberal gun owner still telling yourself that the party is not really anti-Second Amendment, stop listening to the slogans and start reading what they wrote.
They are telling you what they want.
Believe them.
And if you vote for it anyway, do not act surprised when the Second Amendment is the first thing they decide has to go.

Understand now that your fellow Democrats are terrified of guns. That is a bit like being afraid of cabbages that have the same volition. It is time to recognize you are identifying with the mentally ill.
I would use a stronger term than naive.

Anti-gun radical democrats are doing exactly what we saw coming back in the 1960s. Moving on to ban everything they can. Pretending to stop crime without actually stopping crime.
In 1941, after seeing how the Nazis used firearm registration forms to seize privately owned guns in occupied France, The US Congress passed a resolution to NEVER allow registration of firearms in the USA.
The democrats have been trying to get guns registered since 1962 when Thomas J. Dodd and Emanual Cellar called for the registration of Handgun ONLY! “Rifles will not be affected!”

1981 Actress Lee Grant on ABC’s Good Morning America pokes holes in the air and yells...
“THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”
1984 They came for the rifles.
1994 Ten year “ban” on “a-s-s-ault rifles”.
2000 Call to ban single shot .50 cal rifles.
Now, in 2025 they are back to the 1964 demands for MORE GUN CONTROL on COMMON 4- shot BOLT ACTION RIFLES. (Charlie Kirk shooting)
Now it is a ban on parts for firearms.
Rest assured if they get a ban on semi-auto rifles, they will be back for handguns , and more and more, starting with the Glock!

So they take our guns and leave us open to tyranny, slavery, or worse. Big deal. It’s MUCH WORSE that my Senator is a RINO and said something mean about Trump, so I prefer a Democrat over him, even though he’ll almost certainly vote to take my guns away.

How do you describe what we saw in Florida? Obscene? Hideous? Monstrous? These words sound perfunctory, performative, like they’ve been read from a script. The fact is that we’re too used to this now. Our language of outrage has been debased. The shooting in Parkland is something we’ve grown accustomed to, just like in Texas, Las Vegas, Sandy Hook, and a thousand other names between.
The plain fact is that our political class did nothing to prevent any of them. And they won’t do anything about this. We know that now. So we say obscene, hideous, monstrous — and the sentiments all vanish into thin air. The scale of the tragedy doesn’t matter. The identity of the victims doesn’t matter. America touts itself as being a meritocracy, and we laugh, but on firearms policy it is truly need-blind. No matter your age, race, gender, creed, or sexual orientation, your inalienable right to life is perfectly alienable to keep guns pouring into public and private life.
At an impasse like this, there’s no choice but to be bold. Which is why we think that the only way to guarantee that we will dramatically reduce acts of violence involving guns is to remove guns from society, and until somebody gets enough ‘oomph’ to repeal the Second Amendment that’s not going to happen.
Given the chance, your shit RINO WILL vote to do just that.
So stop with the semantics BS and use your brain.
Only reason to vote a RINO out with a democrat is to get someone who actually aligns with us in there, eventually.
