I often hear the reframe that Democrats have changed. Reagan famously said he didn't leave the Democrat party, they left him. I maintain it has always been the party of evil. It started out as the party of slavery. After Lincoln took away their slaves they transitioned to the universal slavery of Socialism.

What about the Uni-party? Republicans are just as bad ! What people need to know is that politics is a magnet that attracts the worst kind of people. The American system worked because it made these same scumbags fight for power amongst themselves rather than extracting it from everyday Americans.
