Bill Maher’s audience audibly gasps when he reads what the Democratic Socialists of America are actually saying out loud:

“Because not a week goes by where I don’t read about some newly chosen, exciting new face in the Democratic Party. And then when that face opens its mouth, the Communist Manifesto or some other crazy shit comes out! Again.”
“Let’s just read the quotes. The DSA platform says: ‘You work as much as you are able and no more than needed.’ If that was any closer to Karl Marx’s dictum, from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs, they’d be sued for plagiarism.”

Are they so stupid to believe that none of the 400 guns could be turned on them personally at some point in time? Yes; I suppose they are that stupid. Some patriots, somewhere, could make certain decisions about watering the tree of Freedom and take necessary action.
When the kenyan ran for office, the CPUSA decided not to run a candidate for President because the dimrats ideas were so close to those of the CPUSA.
Now they are calling themselves DSA. Just another step toward fully adopting the CPUSA’s beliefs.
Their next step will be to abandon the DSA label and go straight to the communist party.
It must be almost impossible for a leftist who suffers from a deep & violent psychotic metal disorder to actually see reality & connect the dots.
Maher’s vote isn’t in play. He’s playing footsie as usual. He’ll vote party line as he always does.
I wonder if, instead of States seceding from the United Stated, they can BE seceded (kicked out) by the majority? THAT’S Democracy!

Never underestimate the ignorance of the voters.
The good thing about the Bill Maher situations where a liberal starts talking about seeing some things from a different angle, is that it helps introduce that different angle of thinking to many who hear them, not just on that topic, it introduces a more flexible way of thinking, it starts their minds to rolling things over a little more, it makes them more receptive to tidbits of conservative points that they hear occasionally, it makes them a little less knee-jerk and rigid.
Rush Limbaugh’s magic was reshaping the mind into examining things we hear and see a little more and it leads many liberals to self examination and often results in conversions or at least a more centrist mind, as they drift away from a straight line of thinking and automatic responses.
