Wisconsin’s former lieutenant governor dropped out of the tumultuous Democratic primary for governor Thursday as news broke that the state Democratic Party last year reviewed anonymous allegations about his sexual encounters.

Start with Platner. Go back to John Edwards/Weiner, the Carlos Danger fella/Katie Hill-just to not be sexist. Then there’s the Mel Reynolds with the 15 year old. I’m tellin’ ya man it’s the power that goes to the heads of these people. Think of them as their gift of gab pastors who can do more than just lead. They lead-on these air head females and then the Katie Hill’s come along wanting to be like men. They play into our hands at the best moments-opposition research.

When they get too big to fail they go to the mat for their people. Think BJ and the swimmer. These Platner and Mandella folks should be exposed at the best possible times. Primaries might be best only because recovery is more difficult 2 years down the road. Novembers are too much of a gamble and our enemies are more prepared.

Mandela faced allegations that he utilized his status within the state Democratic Party to engage in consensual, inappropriate relationships with young adult women.

The Wisconsin Democratic Party hired an outside law firm in 2025 to review these claims after receiving an anonymous letter. The review found nothing actionable because the allegations were anonymous and unspecific, according to sources familiar with the probe.

The controversy surfaced publicly during reporting by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which prompted Barnes to suspend his gubernatorial campaign.

A spokesperson for Barnes’ campaign stated, "There are no allegations of misconduct or wrongdoing against Mandela". Barnes himself told the Journal Sentinel regarding his dating history, "Looking back, there are times where I wish I acted with more maturity".

I thought it was taboo for Democrats to harbor any concerns about someone's sexual activities (A.K.A. exploits).

Perhaps the Democrat Party is not only allowing their antisemtic felling they harbor to show to show, but its racism as well? Virtually all of those fallen candidates have that likable gift of gab quality that can get them that 5% of undecideds that wins elections. The unlikable ones have more of an uphill climb-think Gore, Hillary and Kerry who served in Viet Nam. Even a drunk like Kamala got 48%.
