The US military says it’s launching strikes on Iranian targets in response to Tehran’s attack on American forces a day earlier.
US Central Command said the strikes are “a powerful response to yesterday’s attempted Iranian attack” and that they began Wednesday evening, in a post on social media.
It’s a further escalation after a period of calm, with the U.S. saying it had intercepted strikes from Iran a day earlier and carried out separate strikes alongside Saudi Arabia on Tehran-backed militias in neighboring Iraq.

What are these airstrikes achieving?
Is this a 2 million dollar missile hitting a tent.
Iran persists in terroristic outlashings because of the religion of it's tyrants.
Iran is not conducting a war against the United States. Iran is conducting a jihad against the Great Satan. They don't want any deal or even unconditional surrender from us. They want to keep attacking us until we are dead or possibly converted to suicidal Shiism.
Lots of targets, probably moved around, hidden, obscured movement among civilians, hardened facilities (roll in and out of a mountain), some are repaired / replaced. And you have missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
But most importantly, you have a MSM that is literally sympathetic with Iran.
Their bias / TDS has them “hopping” Iran gets a missile through. You have al Jazeera writing more favorable of what we’re doing than our media, think about that for a second!

Real story: Iran launched 5 missiles (they were shooting 100-200 a day, now 5), we shoot everything down. Now they get hit by an order of magnitude worse that what they “wanted” to inflict but failed at and our media attempts to spin this as some failure.

Not even 6 months in and the pro-war crowd keeps hoping the dead will return to lead the effort to victory. It’d be funny if it wasn’t pathetic, and getting Americans killed.
We have destroyed Irans nuclear weapons program and much of their air defense and missile launch/ drone capabilities
Iran is no longer a serious threat to their neighbors even if they can launch small , uncoordinated random missile strikes
Iran can do some limited damage to shipping and oil refineries but Iran
cannot shut down the Persian Gulf
The real solution is regime change and that is what President Trump is shooting for. It may take a while, but regime change will likely occur in iran
