WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump, congressional colleagues and world leaders Tuesday will say their final goodbye to Sen. Lindsey Graham, the influential and colorful foreign policy hawk whose sudden death this month at age 71 stunned Washington and reverberated in capitals around the globe.

Two days of ceremonies and funeral services will begin around 10 a.m. ET Tuesday when Graham’s casket arrives at the Capitol for a brief ceremony in the rotunda that will include nods to both his military service and his more than three decades in Congress.

The ceremony will be private but livestreamed.

From there, Graham’s casket will depart for Washington National Cathedral for an invitation-only funeral service at 2 p.m. ET. That also will be livestreamed.

Trump is expected to speak at the funeral. Cabinet officials and congressional and military leaders are expected to be on hand, as are global leaders who viewed Graham as a key American ally on defense and foreign policy matters, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

My feelings: Some of us had many disagreements with Sen. Graham but I do not speak ill of the departed. He was a passionate public servant.

hopefully all this will bring comfort to his family, especially Darline, who has borne up through this whirlwind of shock and fast-moving life changes with calm and grace. glad to see she refuses to leave DC on August recess if SAVE America not passed. she sets a good example for the more spineless R (male) specimens.

Didnt always agree with him, but he was mostly good. He was MUCH better after McStain moved on. For some reason he seemingly had a hold over Lindsey.

I had a lot of disagreements with Graham, especially on his views of using the US military and involvement in overseas wars. But since his funeral is today, I’ll chose to remember his defense of Brett Kavanaugh against the liberal smear-job that was trying to derail his nomination. Graham performed admirably in those hearings.

I really didn’t agree with him when he wanted the police to open fire on the J6ers.

What a guy. Trump’s so called friend and he never lifted a finger to stick up for all those J6 Trump supporters being set up and persecuted by his other great friends Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

The coolest thing Graham ever did was that picture of him adjusting his tie while a hysterical, libtard anti Trump protestor was going wild around him.

I had mixed feelings about Graham. I turned on him when he aligned himself with McCain. But more recently he’s been helpful getting Kavanaugh confirmed and pushing the SAVE act and backing Trump on Iran. I did not expect to feel bad when he died.
