Elites are buying candidates directly. The loonier, the better.

Yup.

Whenever I am on YouTube, I see Democrat ads. That party may not have money, but they sure are spending it, telling the public that voting Democrat is the smart choice.

The Republican party may actually have a big pile of cash, but I don’t see them spending any of it. I never see any GOP ads.

Call in the debt. Break up the party. Call it a day.

“At the center is Ken Martin, the 53-year-old party chairman, who has found himself increasingly isolated, gripped by the fear that he will lose his job and relying on a vanishingly small circle of people he trusts, “

He’s starting to sound a bit like Howard Hughes. LOL

They probably come cheaper than people with real, workable ideas

Nailed it. Lots of money going directly to Democratic Party candidates. Lots of sources. Probably lots of foreign money and billionaire Leftists. Many combinations of the two.

Yes indeed. Or is it being “saved” to be “used” “ for next time” and grift after the establishment GOP wing gets removed from power this Fall?
It would certainly be more reassuring to ALL Republican donors to see it being used now to counter Socialist Utopia messages being pushed by the Dem candidates.

Is it too late for the Dems to bring David Hogg back and rehabilitate him?

—”The loonier, the better.”

Yes, BUT.

Look at all the loonies that are elected to office.

Here in DuPage County, a once-proud bastion of conservatism has been all but overrun by loonies.

“Elites are buying candidates directly.”

Exactly.

No Democrat in any critical race is hurting for cash.

NOT ONE.

Democrats in every single hotly-contested/tossup House or Senate race are 100% competitive in the cash department against their GOP opponent, and way more often than not they are much MORE than 100% competitive financially.

And as other posts have mentioned: looking at the advertising which is going on, you’d never know that the Democrat party is the one which is “broke” and Republicans are the ones flush with cash.

The numbers in this article (and other articles which are equally irrelevant) are what they are, but the impact of those numbers is non-existent.

It’s funny in a dark-comedy manner. Their problems are serious and the classy ones amongst us do not say anything that’s ‘not nice’.

So do we stay out of it or giggle amongst ourselves?

If Ken Martin was Dan Rather I’d mock him openly. I can remember Ca. governor Pete Wilson expressing sympathy for Bill Clinton when he screwed up. “I feel sorry for Bill. Just look at who he’s married to.”

They’ll get over it. Just keep getting the fence sitters to laugh along.

Between RNC and Trump himself, we have a quarter of $1 billion. There’s no excuse for us not to win in November.

I’d really like Susan Collins to over and over again explain to the American people how the Democrats can be touting democracy when they had 500 people hand pick the Senate candidate. That is not democracy at all.

Considering the lineup of losers at the RAT hole, Hogg seems almost sane. (But, of course, he’s not.)

The DNC is in debt. Hmmmm....it seems to be that the ONLY ads I'm seeing either on television or social media are for the dems.

I want to think that perhaps the GOP is sitting on a pile of money because they are keeping their powder dry until later in the year. But this is the Republican Party we're talking about.

Shutting down those backdoor government funds to Democrat causes... the ones that siphon off some to donate back to their candidates, has put a strain on Demo coffers.
