A Rhode Island lawmaker who previously referred to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers as “Nazi Gestapo thugs” said “your day of reckoning will come mother——” in a charged social media post aimed at the agency tasked with carrying out the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
State Rep. Enrique Sanchez, a Democrat, directed his anger at ICE in a post Wednesday on X decrying its enforcement tactics.
“Fighting and dealing with ICE since last year has f—– me up in the head after trying to protect and defend hundreds and hundreds of our community members in Providence and across Rhode Island. Your day of reckoning will come mother——,” he wrote. “I swear to god.”
Fox News Digital has reached out for comment to Sanchez, ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, along with the Rhode Island Democratic Party.
Allyn Meyers, chair for the Rhode Island GOP, told Fox News Digital that the party condemns Sanchez’s remarks.
“Sanchez’s inflammatory rhetoric, including his explicit vow of a ‘day of reckoning, is reckless and dangerous.
“We must never forget that ICE agents have been targeted for assassination and violence simply for doing their jobs and enforcing our nation’s laws,” said Meyers. “Rhetoric like this does nothing to protect communities; it puts the lives of dedicated law enforcement officers at greater risk. Republicans respect and stand with the men and women of law enforcement who keep our state and country safe.”
Meyers noted that leaders are “supposed to bring people together and build bridges” before calling on Sanchez to retract his “inflammatory statement.”

Three people died on Saturday in North Carolina by an illegal alien driver that Biden let in I bet that commie douche bag could care less
“”A Rhode Island lawmaker “”
***
He is anything BUT a “lawmaker”. He is enabling and ecouraging and siding with lawbreakers and anti-American activists, and is inciting violence against his own government... against his own country... with his radical violent rhetoric. He should be the one being hauled off and dealt with by law enforcement. I keep dreaming that one day, that might actually happen.
We cannot allow the socialists to make good on their physical threats or lawfare threats.
+100. What an ignorant, pathetic, little low-life.
His grand parents were illegal aliens from Mexico. He is a second generation anchor baby. He identifies as a Mexican first.
Now you know the rest of the story. /spit
Now now, Pope Jonny and Sister Amy say he’s just as American as you!
“your day of reckoning will come mother——”
Not if your day comes first, skippy.

That’s absolutely right!
My thoughts exactly.

Mug shot----Democrat State Rep. Enrique Sanchez--- arrested, charged w/ DUI.
“I swear to god.”
The guy has no relationship with God. He needs to not speak the word.
“I bet that commie douche bag could care less”
He couldn’t care less.
This guy is a joke!
Just a babbling alcoholic………
“Hispanic men are at considerably elevated risk of heavy drinking compared to the general population.
In general, Hispanic men develop liver disease at high rates. In fact, White Hispanic men have the highest rates of alcohol-related cirrhosis, a serious liver disease, of all ethnic or racial groups.“
Sanchez is a white hispanic. They also have high rates of diabetes too.
I see it almost every day.
This wanna be tough guy talks a good game. I think his mouth is writing a check his ass can’t cash.
I hear Enrique Sanchez is accident prone.
