“GRIPPER” PADS...5” PADS==2 or 3 TO A PACKAGE-—SOFT RUBBER—CAN BE WASHED. CAN OPEN ANY JAR WITH THOSE.

Female here too...almost 79. Been opening my own jars for the past 47 years after I divorced my philandering husband. I hit the side of the lid on the top of the counter, or bang the lid with a spoon. That’s enough to loosen the seal and get the lid off.
For metal lids, they’ll expand if hot water runs over them, and they screw right off.
My grandmother taught me to hit the lid on the floor vto break the seal.
Works.
