There’s resistance from progressive Democrats backing el Sayed, who has called Stevens an empty suit beholden to corporate interests.

Supporters of Stevens, meanwhile, may be hesitant after weeks of ads painting el Sayed as unelectable and personally flawed. The big attack ad on TV has been claims that he is “disrespectful” toward women.

We need to profit from this battle. Stevens is the more winnable democrat but an el Sayed primary win would have national implications He's got the gift-she doesn't. It could be best he's nipped in the bud before the brush fire grows uncontrollably. If the idea is to get the disgrunteled losers to stay home in November then the hard left socialists are less likely to be 'team players'. Would the muslims in Ann Arbor play the game?

Think of when Hillary’s people screwed Bernie in ‘16. He was the popular one and the establishment paid him off.

Hillary is just not likable. Al Sayed being voted down could bring the same backlash when Bernie got it. Sayed won’t be bought off and won’t go away.

I think beating Stevens will be tougher but Al Sayed cannot be allowed to grow the movement. Michigan is purple and the socialist victories were in deep blue districts.

Would the Donald Dems vote for Stevens to put the socialists in their place or would they vote for Rogers in November to put them in their place?

It’s the brushfire effect as I’ve mentioned earlier. With an Al Sayed primary victory the fire could get out of control.
