A Tennessee mother shot and killed a man she found hiding under her 13-year-old daughter’s bed, according to cops — and now she’s facing first-degree murder charges.
Kendra Scott was arrested after police found a 20-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound in the back of his head outside her Memphis home just before 2 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Post.
Her lawyer called the situation, “the worst nightmare of any parent of a 13-year-old girl.”
The 36-year-old mother told officers she came home and “saw a dude under my kids’ bed.”
“And I did what I had to do,” she said, per the affidavit.
The deadly incident unfolded after Scott’s teen daughter told cops she invited the man, Rodderius Morton, to the family’s home at around 1 a.m., according to the court document and Scott’s lawyer.
An enraged Scott started pounding on the front door and bellowing, “Who’s at my house?!” when she arrived home around 30 minutes later, the affidavit states.
Her unidentified daughter grew terrified when she noticed her mom was allegedly holding a gun.
Scott had said that if she “sees a boy in my house I will put a hole in his ass,” the daughter later told cops, according to the affidavit.
The teen eventually let her mother inside, where Scott allegedly found Morton hiding under her bed, the court doc states.
“Get out of my house bitch,” she allegedly screamed, and followed Morton out the front door.

The tradition known as “crime of passion” is significant. The idea is that she had no rational control of her actions.
This condition is not a fabrication. But quite difficult to prove.
Shooting him from behind aafter he had left the dwelling was understandable but not the best choice.
And maybe he tried to take the gun from her when they got to the porch.
“Inside the house clean shoot all the way.”
Not if he was invited in.

If the 13-year-old girl were White, the mother would go to jail for sure because, you know, racism.
Since all the parties involved were black, she’ll probably, as she should, be acquitted.
..”..Scott’s teen daughter told cops she invited the man, Rodderius Morton, to the family’s home ...”
“Rodderius...”....isn’t that an old Amish name...or maybe Scottish....? Irish.... Welsh...? sounds impressive to me...!!
13 is too young to give consent. Also, it’s statutory rape. I predict she’ll walk, either prosecutor won’t prosecute, judge will find no probable cause, or a jury will find not guilty.
Temporary insanity. Not guilty.
The 13 y/o should feel guilty and horrible about the mess she just made, but if she was self centered enough to invite him over in the first place, knowing her Mom’s temperment, the 13 y/o most likely only feels ‘temporarily inconvenienced’
I think it was this part:
“Get out of my house bitch,” she allegedly screamed, and followed Morton out the front door.
That’s when her daughter and a neighbor allegedly heard a gunshot ring out.
The neighbor later told police he came outside of his house and saw Scott, still holding the gun, standing by the man’s body – while admitting, “I shot him, I shot him,” according to the affidavit.
Officers recovered one spent shell casing on the front porch, as well as a Smith & Wesson black handgun, the document states.
Scott was taken to the police department for questioning, then charged with first degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Statutory rape is so common among America's dysfunctional underclass, nobody even bats an eye at it. So is incest, but that's another subject.
Still, it's always entertaining to observe the shock when normies discover that 'hood values are a little different from theirs.
I was 100% on the side of the mom. Then I read that she shot the man after he had left the house.
She’ll need a good lawyer here.
You can have sympathy for the mother here, but shooting him in the back of the head when he was already out of the house was a bad idea.
She'll have a new 20-y/o boyfriend before the end of the week. And with mama in the joint, he can come over whenever he wants to.
“But quite difficult to prove.”
Particularly when she said it before and marched him out of the house before shooting.

Blood outside home
Sort of.
But even that doesn’t eliminate reasonable doubt.
The question is what happens in the mind of a mother as she walks to the door with the man who just raped her daughter. Would the passion be strong enough to obscure rational thinking and self-control?
I wonder if she was worried about getting blood on her floor.
Lot less messy if he’s outside the house.
I would’ve shot him while he was still under the bed.
Rodderius be Deadius.
