Then too, - why? (not the moon post)
El Capitan................
Since it would more than likely be communists/dims somewhere in the Catskills.
I’d prefer to leave ALL of our rock faces out of this sort of crap. If you just have to have these useless tokens, cast them in concrete, way north of the Arctic Circle.
As my Sicilian grandfather would say, “Uppah US!”
Dont think we need another. Its not about monuments.
Another monument to government.
Just what we need.
Oh geeze
Carve them on the face of Obama’s library.
I’m not certain any second Mt. Rushmore is even possible , if a Republican is the one being featured, unless the GOP is ready for a domestic power struggle. Today’s libs are hardworking, resourceful and Hive Minded about one thing only, that being to destroy, disturb or dismantle any tribute to one of our Heroes.
While the new tribute was under construction, I can see foolish Libs making a huge deal of resisting, going as far as literally lying down on the rocky surfaces, hoping to prevent necessary demolition and modification of the mountain face. Nothing is too low for them to try, or should I say nothing is too high either, with inexpensive, weaponized drones ready to do their bidding.
20 years ago, what I’m saying would have sounded dreadfully paranoid and pessimistic. Now? It’s simply par for the course, and naive not to have a plan for. Think of that 3 time Olympian ready and willing to disgrace himself by vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, just because this is something President Trump wants to be done. These are not the genteel, socially mannered Hubert Humphrey style Democrats I grew up around decades ago, and they never will be.
We don’t need a second Mt. Rushmore!
Enough is enough!
How about no place??
Dumb question...
Are we going to be like Rome, with the entire country covered in statues of politiicians?
Wherever the new Gutzom Borglan wants to spend half the rest of his life chiseling them.
Cleveland.

We have a second Mt Rushmore and bigger at Stone Mountain, GA with the carvings of President Jefferson Davis, Generals Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Come visit.
Where? How about “private property”?
One is enough IMHO.
