As New York baked under another summer heat wave, parts of the Riverdale neighborhood in the Bronx, home to a large Jewish community, lost power after Con Edison shut off electricity to protect its equipment.
Con Edison announced the outages Thursday, saying it temporarily cut power to some customers in Riverdale to reduce strain on the electrical grid and speed up service restoration. The utility directed affected residents to report outages and seek relief at city cooling centers.

So, again that A$$hole targeted the Jews.
Of course he’s going after the Jews. He’s Ayatollah Khomeini with a smirk and smile. There’s barely a sliver of disagreement between him and the Islamonazi regime of Iran. It’s only his style and methods that are more tailored to the electorate of NYC. Jews in NYC can expect a drumbeat of intimidation and abuse in the coming years.
Taylor who?
power outages in NY will continue to only get worse, MUCH worse, the further these idiots go in forced “electrification”, building only intermittent, unreliable, and expensive “green” energy instead of reliable power generation, and refusal to build NG pipelines ...
NY is getting the government they voted for, good and hard ...
Probably not what my kin folks thought in their arrival around 1630ish would be the outcome.
BUMP
As much as I despise Mamdani, the premise is BS. Yes, many Jews live in Riverdale, but its not even close to a top 10 NYC Jewish neighborhood by raw numbers or percentage of the population. Catholics (Irish, Puerto Rican, Italians) dominate the area. If he was wanted to punish Jews then he would have cut power in Brooklyn.
Democrat first
Jew second
Israel a distant third
Low turnout lets fringe groups take control. NYC is the poster child for that. I agree that not voting is accepting the status quo and they deserve what they get.
He only cut the power off to those unwilling to get into the train cars...
