The congressman with no record, Byron Donalds
AmericanThinker ^

Posted on 07/02/2026 7:07:58 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

Donalds was elected to Congress in 2020. A man who missed 161 congressional votes? A congressman with virtually no meaningful legislative footprint? A politician whose public image appears exponentially larger than his measurable achievements? Then there are growing controversies and scrutiny surrounding entities tied to his wife’s business and political ecosystem, issues that critics argue directly contradict the polished “law and order” image being sold to voters.

How can someone who has missed 161 votes be considered reliable?

Tell Clarence Thomas and other Black men how being Black makes one “untouchable”.

He was a big insider trading congressman. Byron Donalds’s net worth
Overall Increase Since Entering
Congress
• From a pre-Congress baseline of roughly $81,000 (low-end cited figure) or low-to-mid six figures, his estimated net worth has grown to ~$4.39 million-an increase of roughly $4.3 million (or more, depending on the exact starting point.”
He gives Pelosi and MTG a run for their money. He also had an ethics complaint for not disclosing 1.6 million in stock trades.
He found a “legal” to get rich besides dealing drugs and being involved in bank fraud. Also throw in tuition fraud by marrying a friend so they get in-state tuition and you have a real politician.

He wanted to be in Trump’s cabinet but because of his shady past he couldn’t get him through the confirmation process. Trump suggested he run for Governor and he would endorse him. He endorsed him over a year ago before anyone else got in! Susie Wiles is also behind this because she hates DeSantis. He fired her.

Wifey rakes it in too. She’ll be the portal for the incoming influence money. She has been practicing.

I hope he wins. He’s a patriotic voice and a reliable vote. That’s more than enough.

As a DeSantis supporting native Floridian, I saw him switch from being against “Homestead Property Tax Elimination” to the pro side when his stance was noticed.

He exhibits to me what I detest about politicians: (1) personal benefit first and (2) “whatever way the wind blows” to support the first premise (1) ... a smooth operator (not to be trusted).

No thank you.

Jay Collins did Tampa right when he was their FL Senator and has done Florida right since being selected and recommended by DeSantis as Lieutenant Governor.

We all need to get our act together and speak out where we can to turn the U.S.A. away from self-serving evil.

That’s good to know. Important too. I didn’t like him challenging Trump but he wasn’t as bad as Cruz with the vote your conscience thing, a disqualifier especially with the 3 top-tiers we got. The possibility of his wife’s cancer returning could have an effect on things.

Don’t you want to see a debate and make up your own mind? If he’s so great why is the Florida GOP making him a stealth candidate?

I am not going to vote for him.

Byron Donalds hid $1.6 MILLION in secret stock trades, including bets on the exact companies his own committee regulates.
And that’s not even the worst thing about him.

5 of the top reason I found on why Byron Donalds is dangerous for Florida:

1. THE SECRET TRADES
He made 108 stock trades for ~ $1.6M and ZERO disclosures for two straight years. A nonpartisan watchdog said he was the only member of Congress who filed nothing, and some of the trades were in health insurers and a bank his Financial Services Committee oversees.

2. HE VOTED TO GUT YOUR HEALTHCARE
He voted for the bill that slashed ~$800B from Medicaid, estimated to rip health coverage from nearly 1,000,000 Floridians. And he did so in the oldest state in America.

3. HE ABANDONED HIS OWN HURRICANE VICTIMS
Hurricane Ian flattened HIS district. He voted AGAINST the bill that funded FEMA’s disaster relief, then begged for Ian money a week later. He lied to you all. Performative politics.

4. THE FAMILY CASH MACHINE
He pushes school privatization while his wife’s charter companies rake in MILLIONS of your tax dollars. Then a school privatization billionaire gave him $7.5M for his Governor run. So, it seems self fulfilling.

5. THE SECOND-CHANCE HYPOCRITE
He has a felony record and admitted he was dealing drugs, but he got diversion, probation, and a wiped-clean record....he THEN voted to DENY that same second chance to other young people. Hypocrite.

Florida, don’t put another low life in office like Cory Mills and Randy Fine. You have a chance to kick these scums to the curb.
@ByronDonalds
looks to be a hypocritical, grifter who wants to be in office to better his life and f* yours. You have been warned.
