Donalds was elected to Congress in 2020. A man who missed 161 congressional votes? A congressman with virtually no meaningful legislative footprint? A politician whose public image appears exponentially larger than his measurable achievements? Then there are growing controversies and scrutiny surrounding entities tied to his wife’s business and political ecosystem, issues that critics argue directly contradict the polished “law and order” image being sold to voters.

He’s a reliable pub. I’d have no problem with him.
ESPN-think of the Rush Limbaugh’s comments on Donovan McNabb that got him fired. Too much truth to it and I’m afraid we’re going down that same road.
Is he not the best choice?
If he’s not, who is?

Jay Collins (current Lieutenant Governor of Florida, former state senator, military veteran) — A serious contender with name recognition from his current role.
• Paul Renner (former Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives) — Brings legislative experience and establishment support.
• James Fishback (investment firm founder, former DOGE advisor, conservative activist; running with Sean A. Lozano as potential lieutenant governor running mate) — Polling competitively in some recent surveys but faces an active lawsuit filed by Lt. Gov. Collins challenging his eligibility under Florida’s 7-year residency requirement for governor (citing prior D.C. voter registration and residency ties). Fishback denies the claims and describes himself as a fourth-generation Floridian. The case is pending in court as of early July 2026 and could affect his ballot status.
Other Republicans who qualified include Jim Holcomb, Arthur Joseph McCaffrey, Daniel Nokovich, Rachel Rodriguez, James W. Shaw, Caneste Succe, and Bobby Williams (among others).

Rubber stamp black guy that insulates us from charges of racism.
He’s Trump endorsed.
End of story.

No record?
Well, supposedly he was busted for pot possession and dealing, but the charges were swept under the rug.
Preaching is one of the easiest jobs on earth. It’s just right behind a member of Kongress. The subject in question (McCarthy) has settled into the equilibrium of the least required jobs he has to perform. For Kongress, that means he’s retired at (whatever age he was elected).
His media interviews are available on YouTube if you care about the truth.
I guess youthful indiscretions are only good for the Platners of the world?

Donalds and Tim Scott are empty suits.
DEI initiatives of the RNC.
Yes. There is an excess of laws. Stupid people think the more laws you pass, the better representative you are.
