I now understand the American dream.

I came to the World Cup because I was offered a last minute ticket to watch England play Croatia in Dallas and I started documenting my journey.

The content went viral on social media. So much so, the President of the United States saw it himself.

I was invited to attend the grand opening of the great American state fair for freedom 250 and halfway through Donald Trumps speech, I was told to come and wait back stage for a photograph.

This sort of thing could only happen in America. As an Englishman I never really understood what America has to make it “the land of opportunity”

But results speak for themselves.

I don't want to sign in to YouTube for various reasons, but if anyone is signed in and wants to offer them advice in the comments about how to migrate here, which they pleaded for, someone please tell them:

Try migrating first to Canada, a part of the British Commonwealth, and after establishing residency there, apply for citizenship in the US. This has worked for many people.

Alberta would probably suit them well, and they could still travel down to their favorite spots in the Western states.

We absolutely have a great country.  But the Constitution doesn't stand on its own.  It requires leadership, obedience to the Law, and enough guardians of the Republic to speak out and make life hard for Congress critters, Fake News, and others whose idiocy or avarice would destroy the Nation.

I’ve traveled through Alberta, and my friend is right. The scenery is much like what you describe liking and the people we met were wonderful. Alberta is very different from the rest of Canada - much more like Western US than like Eastern Canada. Best of luck with your hopes for immigration and a new family.
