A friend who watched your wonderful video but didn’t want to sign into YouTube asked me to copy his suggestion into your comments. Truly WONDERFUL video and enjoyed watching the entire thing. Per my friend:
Try migrating first to Canada, a part of the British Commonwealth, and after establishing residency there, apply for citizenship in the US. This has worked for many people.
Alberta would probably suit them well, and they could still travel down to their favorite spots in the Western states

I’ve traveled through Alberta, and my friend is right. The scenery is much like what you describe liking and the people we met were wonderful. Alberta is very different from the rest of Canada - much more like Western US than like Eastern Canada. Best of luck with your hopes for immigration and a new family.
