As time progresses American kids are becoming more and more spoiled to the point many are just worthless when adult hood arrives. This is particularly true with the extreme wealthy. Those brats become the commie’s useful idiots when it comes to riots, protests and violence.
Well, they ain’t getting married…so I guess the parent wants to spend money on them.
They are misguided.
This is very poor parenting. IMHO there is no other way to look at it. What’s the message?
Both mom and daughter scream high maintenance.
Is this a chick thing, or are male attendees doing this, too?
Hood Prom...the peak of Ghetto Life.
Well that is just stupid.
Do these same people vote for abortion?
So there’s a price tag on good parenting?
Major credit card debt that will NEVER be paid back. Instead of putting that towards college, a savings account or a car where their child can use it for WORK, they WASTE this money on BS.
Too bad they just can’t steal it like they do everything else.
Seriously. If youre a billionaire okay but draining your 401k to fund a party for your kids as means to flex how “cool” of a parent you are is asinine…. And lets be honest this IS about the parents. This is why kids lack fundamental understanding of budgets and basic economics.
I equate that to the same idiots that spend $50-100k or such on a wedding to watch a divorce within 2 years.

My son and my daughter live in a very wealthy town in MA. They do a red carpet presentation and hire buses (not school buses )to take the kids to the prom venue. After the prom they have breakfast and a “carnival” set up in the gym. All of this is provided by the senior class parents and the kids love it.
The only real expense is the incredible dresses for the girls.
In 1986 my dad paid about $60.00 for my prom dress. That was for the fabric and pattern because I made my own dress in Home Ec class.
The other girls? They might have paid around $200. or so. Hard to say. That dress I made would have been very expensive to buy.
Here was the pattern. I made View A just as you see it, in Red.

Hood prom celebrations are extremely important. They are the ceremony that launches these kids into the baby mama/baby daddy lifestyle. This is peak hood.
